Yeah, sorry, I meant WATCH. I'll correct that.

There will be more than enough watches to ship to those that are in the first wave. So much so, it has already been mentioned that second wave recipients will be bumped up.

As the days go by, I'm beginning to lose hope for a 24th arrival date. I would have to think if next Friday was going to happen, then my order status should be changing very soon into "processing" . Oh well... We'll get it when we get it. At least we are first in line. :)

Listen...

I order a lot of Apple products.

Status will not change until next week.

In fact, not until a few days before arrival of the watch. That is the way it works.

I would suspect by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week you will get notification of shipping.

Those of you that have 4/24 in your delivery date range will get your watches on that day.

YOU DON'T KNOW THAT FOR SURE. You are just guessing and hoping, as we all are. But there is NO guarantee that it will happen for all. Certainly for some, but probably NOT for all with that date range.

Yes...

Listen!

Have seen a small number of people get overly nervous about their 4/24 orders because their status hasn't changed.

As someone who has preordered almost a dozen or more new Apple products over the years I always experience the same scenario...

Order status does not change until actual week of delivery....more precisely, a few short days before ship date.

So, don't get nervous because your order status hasn't changed. You will get your watch on the 24th.

The 24th is launch date.

There are thousands of watches ready to deliver.

Apple is not going to screw up the launch date by not making certain people -- who were first to order their watches -- get their product.

It's not going to be available in stores, but you people who ordered online will get your watch on the 24th if you were given that date range.

It's already been confirmed in countless other posts on this very forum.

My delivery dates are 05/17 - 05/24. I hope they get bumped up. Seeing as I pre-ordered at 3:08am on 04/10.

There will definitely be a lot of happy people on the 24th. There will also definitely be a lot of disappointed people, that is pretty much the norm for an Apple launch.

I agree with what other people are saying regarding shipping though. I checked my last couple of iPhone orders out of curiosity and with both I got shipping notification 4 days before release date.

Thank you, to the last couple posters, for clarifying my position.

No, I don't possess any special powers or knowledge about your watch delivery.

However, I am one of the first to have ordered a watch. I have the 4/24-4/29 delivery window and I am not sweating one bit about not getting my watch on 4/24.

First, I know how Apple operates. I preorder new products all the time and have come to realize that Apple overestimates delivery times on purpose. I even talked to one of Tim Cook's assistants a year ago (when I had concerns about my iPhone 6 plus delivery and sent an email to Tim Cook) and was told that Apple always overestimates delivery times.

I received my iPhone 6 a full week before it was promised. I was one of the people who wasn't locked in for the first or second week when it was released. However, sure enough, the phone came early.

Second, there are many people on this forum who have posted many threads, worried about initial stock, and their experiences talking to Apple Executives who have also confirmed that delivery dates have been over exaggerated and that most everyone will not only receive their watches on the 24th, but many bands that were slated for a week later could be received on the same day.

With no product being available in stores, Apple is not going to come up empty handed with their online customers.

Your are just guessing.

See how it works?

4/24-4/29 delivery date? I haven't seen anyone with those dates, post your confirmation email.

Apologies. I was posting that information from memory. I don't even pay attention to the delivery date range.

Just checked my email confirmation. It is 4/24-5/8

Come back to this forum on Wednesday. You will see a crapload of threads talking about their delivery status being changed and their watches being shipped.

Haha I was gonna say, you'd be pretty lucky to have 4/24-4/29. I'm also 4/24-5/8 and patiently waiting...
