Just wow. Past 10ths SOT and still have 40% left. Coming from a XS max, this is just phenomenal. I’m really glad that Apple decided to focus on bigger batteries than thin phones.

Update:
I don’t think anyone would need to charge this thing more than once every two nights.
55% left today.

No battery saving settings used just FYI. Auto brightness on. Location on. Connected to Apple Watch. On Wifi/4G.

Update:
Down to 20% now. Total SOT since full charge was 887 mins.

The real test for me is a Pokémon Go community day. 3 hours of playing will use everything from GPS to 4G to graphics rendering and often a high screen brightness for outside me. Let’s see how it gets on in a few weeks…

I’m wondering if it even needs charged overnight? How much battery depletion during stand by for 8 hours?
I'm thinking about trying different charging habits with this phone. It's looking like I might be able to sometimes go 2 full days without charging at all. I don't know if that will really happen because I've got a charger of some type around me at all times, so I'll have to consciously not put the phone on one to test this. Like the battery life is phenomenal

I’m at 83 percent sure right now and my Pro Max has been off the charger for 12 hours with roughly 3 hours on screen usage. I’m pretty impressed!

Do y’all not have any responsibilities? Lol sheez
Hey man it’s the weekend when most people have off and with our new toy! What do ya expect 😂

Luckily I have a girlfriend that did about 90% of the house chores this weekend so I could setup my phone and play around with it. I’m a lucky guy!

Anyways I got over 9.5 hours screen on time yesterday on my first charge. That was with not even trying trying to conserve battery. With using 80-85% brightness with auto turned off, and light mode.

However I switched to Chrome today and I noticed my phone is getting very very warm and battery is draining much faster with it. So if you want the best battery possible, then definitely stick with Safari until Google works the bugs out of their apps with iOS 15.

I upgraded from an XS Max. One reason I never got the 11 or 12 was that Apple never made an Apple-branded battery case for those model. But the battery on the 13 Pro Max is easily twice as good as the XS Max.

The battery on the 13 Pro Max is so good that I really haven't needed the Magsafe Battery Pack I bought at all. And I really can't imagine what kind of daily use would require the need for one.

My battery life was pretty disappointing initially … until I disabled the second esim. Now it’s holding steady.

could that have been the cause of the faster drain on battery???
