You misunderstand. The music should be there, a lot of people like it, and it's as catchy as any other fluffy pop. But equally, it shouldn't be lauded and celebrated as something great and idealogically perfect, any more than Chris Brown should be.

(And obviously Chuch-music only wouldn't work, so many great pieces have their origins in Catholicism…)
No one is lauding the Beatles For anything other than their music. I haven't seen "ideological" or "perfect" in a single post.
