When 3DFX shut down I was lucky enough to get hold of a Voodoo5 6000 plus a load of 3dfx paraphanelia, T-Shirts and such - Yes 6000, they were never released and only a very few engineering samples were around and most didnt work properly. Had 4 x GPU's on board with 128Mb RAM (a lot at the time, it was the very first card with 128mb!). I never used it full time, drivers were very buggy and it was too valuable (of course only Alpha state ones were available from an ex employee).
Anyway, I sold it for a fortune some time later - serious collectors item which no doubt would be worth even more today.
I loved 3dfx and lets not forget it was they that used SLi long long ago.. Sorry maybe off topic but just brought back memories seeing the Voodoo name come up
