Now, that being said how do you feel about using a GSM phone on Bell?? What happens when you are out of a 3g area? Or switch 3g off?? Does the phone not work?? I'll be going to Rogers for this fact alone, the legacy network stability....
My experience in the year that I've had my iPhone 3GS with Rogers has been wonderful. I get blazing fast speeds about 99% of the time, download speeds topping 5.55 Mbps. That's pretty impressive. Other times I usually get anywhere from 2 - 4 Mbps, sometimes it will dip to 1-1.5 Mbps. The only time I have problems is when I'm at my cottage where there is no service.
Everywhere I go I get great speeds. The Rogers network is pretty darn fast around here.
