Hey, nothing wrong with Empire Carpet's commercial. Did you guys see that they changed the theme song once, and added computer-generated animation? Apparently it either didn't test well or they got complaints, because soon after the classic song returned. But the weird CG is still there. They prob spent too much on the CG and didn't want to give it the axe.

Hmm...I seem to vaguely remember "Moo and Oink"...

Empire carpet (and now window) commercials annoy me because they play them constantly and it gets annoying.

Those new cox commercials with "digital max" are not funny and make the company look stupider than they already are.

I have just realized that I don't like the word cheesy/cheesiest along with the word frack™

It just reminds me of little fat kids eating those cheese curl things and getting the cheese all over there fat fingers and around there mouth (perhaps even on their juice mustache). And then they lick/suck of the cheese residue on their fingers. YUCK!

(wow, am I anal or... I can't even think of a word to describe me)

Time for a thread ressurection!

Is that the naffest advert ever? It's infamous in the UK!!! I remember sitting in the cinema when I went to see Superman Returns, and they played that ad before the film came on. Gawd it was hilarious. The whole cinema was laughing...

Wow.... that was remarkably weird. In the US they are called "Frosted Flakes".

I love the AppleBee's commercial stuck right in the middle of Talladega Nights.

He does it for d'Olivera & Morgan in RI. I think the scary part is, rather than use a form ad like all these firms used to (The hurtline ones right?) where they just change the audio when the logo is on, so they only had to shoot the video once, he ACTUALLY SAYS THE NAME ON CAMERA. How many different versions did they have to shoot?

There's a small car dealership around that once used "Credit Man" or something. He was dressed like Superman, with a foam chest. He said the line: "If I can bend steel with my bare hands... <cuts to him inside><credit man points to camera> I can approve your credit". The funniest part is, he's bending what appears to be an inflatable parking meter.

Are you able to find a link? I have been looking for this commercial for weeks, with no luck. They played it ALL the time, I can't believe no one has Super Credit Man (from express Koz ["cars" with accent] and Credit)! Someone has got to have it on an old VHS tape maybe? I recall my ex gf used to record soap operas in the early 2000's, maybe I still have them. I will look, but I would love it if anyone can find the commercial! It's very important to me, strangely.
