I picked up a nice clear acrylic easel at a Michael's craft store in the photo
frame section for about $6. Not fold-able but is small and holds the iPad
completely stable in both orientations (even when it's in a case). Also doesn't
cover up the edges of the screen.

I just got the ZooGue version 2 case and so far really like that not only is it a case, but it's an adjustable stand as well. Works really great for watching TV on my iPad via the Sling App.

Does any here have a Twelvesouth Bookarc for Mac notebooks? Is it possible to slot an iPad into one of these? It would be cool if it could do double duty as an iPad and Macbook stand. It would make the rather outrageous price a little easier to swallow as well.

Thanks in advance.

I'm curious about the Belkin Flip Stand too. I have a Portenzo case on the way, and I'm wondering if it will work with this stand. I'm thinking that the case itself is probably too deep to fit in the stand, but I think it might still hold the iPad up if I can put the little bit of the notebook cover that overhangs past the bamboo of the Portenzo in the ridge on the Belkin stand that would normally hold the naked iPad. I hope that makes sense. Anyone have both and can report back?

Just reporting back in case anyone else was wondering: I got a chance to check out the Belkin FlipBlade and it will accomodate an iPad in a Portenzo case. The ledge that the iPad sits on is actually quite wide, so it works well.

Best iPad mount/stand ever?

I think i found it!!
http://www.thetabletmount.com
1. It folds up for portability
2. It spins 360 degrees
3. It goes from portrait to landscape
4. It has an arm that reaches out for any angle or height you could need

Sweet!!!

I got this great case for free during the media maworld reception. im gonna do a review soon probably as well. At first I thought it was cheap or fake leather though and that it was too bulky but afyer playing qith it for a while I am going to replace my apple case with this one. It allows for much more and better viewing angles and it doesnt fall down when you try to balance it on a table like the apple case and do heavy typing. Plus you can set it pretty well due to all of the velcrows with both landscape orientstion sides so if you play some games that only have one you dont have to hold it but can lesvy it on a table. It also has a car seat strap. The only problem is that its a bit bulky and heavy but that is a lot of added protection as Ithink if the ipad flls with it it would protect it a lot better.

Element Case Joule Stand Anodized Black.

I love my Black Anodized Joule Stand which I got as gift however, my iPad was accidentally sold few days after I got the stand (I did not think my nearly-year-old iPad would sell at such a high price. Certainly the demand is still high for iPad.) so I have to let the stand go.

Despite the luxo-price currently sold at retail I love the quality, functionality (three angled positions) and its sturdiness. I believe it is the best stand money can buy for a bare iPad.

Yes definitely, When I was flying last week I saw someone stuggling with their iPad for hours on the plane then I pulled mine out with this case and the guy was like wow I need one of those lol.

I use a Griffin A-Frame stand for when I'm at home, it's my charging/syncing base. http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/tablet-stand

This is the stand I bought for when I'm out and about. It's really cool and very versatile. I can use it for the iPad or a book, or my phone even. It folds very small and fits very well in my small iPad bag.

I currently use this for my iPad for studying notes and watching videos. It works great and the stand is compact and pretty durable from my experience.

Awesome!

Sorry for the rush shots but this is how I use my Gorilla Pod.

What a great idea! Thanks! I've had a Gorilla Pod sitting in my drawer unused for the past couple years. Now it's by my keys headed to my office for official use as my iPad Holder.
