The Countdown Thread - 13 Days To Go - Questionnaire

Since it is the i PHONE I think that they should throw in some more phone cababilities like voice activated calling (double tap the hold switch and you can start speaking into the phone to dial a number) and MMS (alot of people like it). Also text forwarding would be nice.

But hey, the iPhone does things well and those things could be implimented eventually..

Maybe some more apple apps in the app store for free that are like widgets in Mac OS X

* Yes, I think there will be a few surprises in the form of unknown bundled applications within the 2.0 firmware, which have yet to be announced at any of the events...Ditto

I am so sick of people starting threads just to try and get a lot of posts on it. I know you feel good when you have started a thread that is "successful" but this is just unnecessary. This thread is very similar to the one that kept being renamed...."WWDC - When, where, what" or something like that and managed to get a lot of posts and just too vague of a topic. And I stopped reading it after a while but I'm sure it was only just a couple of people posting by the end of it.

This thread is just a selfish hog.

If it is such a bad thread, why waste a post on it? Seems that you are contributing to its success just as much as the "couple" of "selfish hogs".

Because it needs to be addressed. If no one expresses their opinion on it, it will just keep happening. I have been seeing more and more of these kind of threads.

this sort of thing always happens when a new product is on the path of release. once the iPhone 3G is in our hands everything will mostly go back to normal
 
Just to clarify...

InvisibleShield and the like are NOT cases. They are protective films.

Personally, I think IS is a superior product to BodyGuardz. I have used both and although BG is a better deal, it is thinner and mine actually scratched easily. These things are hard to get off and replacing them is a bear. I also like the "feel" of IS better than BG.

You know what they say, 'You get what you pay for"...

I was for a while (pre-Cingular), then I was for about 2 weeks last year when I was debating the original iPhone. But yes, for all intents and purposes I will be new.

Better camera with flash, better lens, and maybe a bit of optical zoom.

Maybe an app or 2, probably not though.
 
I'm really excited for the new iPhone, and I am currently using an incase belt clip thing (it's awesome).

One thing I'm worried about is whether/how well the 3G iPhone will fit in my Belkin FM transmitter, because right now my iPhone slides in perfectly :confused:

A better camera with image stabilization. Heck even the image stabilization would make the current camera decent, my hands get to shaky when holding the phone like a camera.

Light up Apple on the back to be illuminated when in use (ie not in sleep mode) and as an indicator for missed calls/texts/emails.
