I'm sorry - but I disagree with the bed being only for sleep and sex. Sure, lock your sex to that location, but not the sleep! Variety is the spice of life...

I think you mixed that up but I get you ;)

I reserve the bed for sleeping and sex.
That doesn't mean I reserve sleep and sex for the bed :p

My morning routine usually leaves me pretty fresh for the whole day. Sometimes I crash at about 11 though (after a particularly hectic day)

06:45 - Wake up
07:00 - Get out of bed (in Winter my room is freezing, so I have to take advantage of bed)
07:10 - Brush my teeth, then have a shower
07:30 - Brush my hair
07:30 - Get breakfast (usually Weetabix these days, or Shredded Wheat)
07:45 - Sort my hair out
08:00 - Pack my bag for University (i.e. put my MacBook in it)
08:10 - Brush my teeth again / check my hair
08:20 - Walk to Uni
09:00 - Do Uni stuff until...
18:00 - Walk home.
18:45 - Brush teeth
18:50 - Sit and do work
19:30 - Browse the internet
20:30 - Usually watch a film or do some more work and talk on MSN
21:30 - Eat dinner
21:45 - Watch the rest of the film or do yet more work
Usually around 01:00 - Brush teeth, wash face, go to bed.

Each day I'm at University different times, so my schedule changes to accommodate for that. I'm trying to work in going to the Gym from now on, but I'm getting lazy. I think I'll start next week.

Also in the evenings, I put in some valuable songwriting time.

Alright, well basically if the swell is good I wake up around 5:30 walk down to the point to check the waves by 6:30 am. If the waves are on, Im on the phone with a close friend or two and we are in the water and shooting photos/videos by 7am. Surf until around 10 am and Im back at the house and off to university by 11 and class at 11:30. Im at school until about 3:30 or 4. Back to the house to make supper for my girlfriend for when she comes home around 5:30. At about 6 the gf and I are either surfing or off to a friends for a beer or two. On the weekends it about the same routine but instead of school we are surrounding ourselves with good friends. I think we have a beautiful life.

What time I get up is irrelevant as it changes day by day, city to city, time zone to time zone. Though I always measure my time in Denver time, even if I'm on the coast(federal rule). I wake up to my iPhone alarm and try to turn it off without directly looking at the bright screen. After laying there for a minute I decide that I actually want to get up I turn on the light for the top bunk of my truck, it is the only light I can reach from my bunk that doesn't shine directly on me. I also turn the heat all the way up to warm up the cab faster. After my eyes adjust I turn on all the other lights.

The first thing I do is get dressed, then make my bed and put away any dirty clothes I was too lazy to put away the night before. When you live in something as small as a truck you need to keep it clean or it will become a big distraction. I throw on my jacket and hat, grab my toothbrush and head to the nearest place where I can use the restroom, this changes daily. After getting done in the restroom I will buy some food if there is a place within a five minute walk.

After returning to my truck I start it up and get my log book up to date. I then go outside and do a pre-trip inspection of the truck and trailer. I am mostly checking for functioning lights and that no one had tampered with the truck while I was sleeping. If everything looks ok I grab some bottled water and a Gatorade from under the bunk and set out down the road.

I could be going any direction ranging anywhere from 20 miles up to about 550 for the day, just depends on the load. Sometimes I have time to stop and take pictures and look around. Every other day I try to get a shower in at about mid-day, no waiting during the middle of the day.

At the end of my day I find a nice quiet place to park, always where I can make an easy exit, and get something to eat. My meals throughout the day are small, almost snack size. I save my real meal for the end of the day. I try not to hang around other drivers as they seem to be really negative. If I came across a driver that seems smart and has a positive attitude I will BS with him/her for a bit before returning to the truck.

After returning to the truck I plug my phone into the laptop and sync the music. After that I send out my daily Email to family and friends. I like to watch an episode or two of whatever TV show I have on DVD, then I close the laptop and go to bed.

I'm a non-paid bible educator in Mexico with a common religion.

Monday - Get up whenever, cook breakfast if it's early enough or get lunch. Review, study, and prepare for the various things I'll be doing later in the week. Start preparing a discourse if applicable for that week.

Tuesday - Out the door at 7 if I'm ambitious or 8 more commonly. Do my thing until noon-ish, then back home and bum around. A group thing on bible related subjects at 6:30pm. Then go out with friends or just go home.

Wednesday - Same in the morning as Tuesday; go home noon to 5 or so, then back out preaching for a few hours in the evening. Usually don't do anything Wed night.

Thursday - Same morning as the above two. Nothing in the afternoon until a 2 hour meeting at 7:00.

Friday - Same morning as above for a few hours, then usually to the beach.

Saturday - Sleep in, go surfing in the afternoon.

Sunday - Meeting at 9:30 am then lunch followed by surfing until dark.
