The drop-down forum topic menu is gone

This was one of the most handy features of the old forum - where you could tap it once, scroll down a minimalist list of all MacRumours forum categories & tap again to access that forum.

Now we need to go back to the main forum listing, scroll down a much larger list of topics before tapping to access the desired forum.

Big backwards step imo.
