yep that's the point. You keep refreshing as per the instruction "please re-issue request"
and emily will send you a message which is chapter 3

chapter 8 is a similar thing, and it just went through for me- PW: triumphant

you want to image URL, so right click the image given by dropbox, and click copy IMAGE URL.
Go to the link i gave you (convert hub) and insert the link and convert it.

now look at the word and it's background.
you want to look for the ones that dont match.
ie: Word says "Orange" but background is pink.

there should be three errors, one for date, month, and year.

then go to the events page in your dropbox webpage (again I have posted the link in my post) and insert the date from the errors

Same here. There aren't enough that don't match and I tried all the combinations. Still nothing.

I haven't looked at it, can you complete this with minimal effort? I'm thinking it's not worth it.
 
ok i'm back. and on chap. 14!
ok so what you do after chapter 12 i is a bit tricky. go to your captain's log, and right click chapter 12. click previous version, and set it to the oldest version

[there is no "chapter 13"- that appears]

chapter 14, you have two boxes. one is a sudoku box, the other is a movable block (like of of those sliding games where you you move it around to form an image.

Chapter 15: create a new folder in dropbox 2012, and share it with boxer@dropbox.com

Did that and looked at the Ch. 12 file again and found the shield in the help section but it just goes to the regular page.

Got it! You have to get there from your DropQuest folder (help link is in the lower left)
 
So I inverted my colors on chapter 6 got 3-21-2005. Went to that date in the events page. What am I supposed to be seeing at this point? Nothing happens. How do I advance. I also tried to the other 2 dates people have mentioned here.
 
Any tips for Chapter 5 (various country power sockets)

I tried the first letter of their official names and it didn't work...

you just click the shield (not the text); works both ways :)
