Just wondering if anyone that ordered an extra band to go along with their watch has had the band ship yet, or are they filling watch orders first?

Since a lot of watches are now shipping, I figured this was inevitable so I'll start it out. I ordered the 38 SS with black sports band. I then ordered the 38mm Milanese band on 4/10 around 10am CST. It is still processing with an estimated delivery window of 4/29-5/12. I later on 4/10 ordered the 38mm black classic band (must have been around 4pm CST and have a shipping window of "May."
I am almost as excited for the straps to arrive as I am the watch. I haven't seen anyone with straps shipping yet. When do you guys think the bands and straps will start shipping? With Apple's track record I would have to think they'll ship early in their respective windows, if not sooner.
Also given that the some of the straps are $150+, do you think we will need to sign for delivery for them like we do the watches?
finally, do you think and bands or straps will be in stores on launch day? My guess is no seeing that they are not shipping right away for online orders. When you you think they will be available in stores?

My watch has changed to shipped. But the milanese band is still in processsing. I had assumed that I would get the band before the watch since I originally had a June ship date. Happy Days!
I wish now that I'd ordered the SS with white sport for my wife and Modern Buckle after the fact, because right now it's got a May 13-27 delivery and just May for her sport band. If she gets the watch, she won't be able to wear it on runs/working out until the band comes.
Mine on the other hand is SS with black sport band and who knows when those will ship. I might end up getting my link bracelet and milanese loop before I get my watch!

I believe all extra bands were purposely held back a few days as not to flood the carriers with parcels to deliver.

I think I am going to stop by the Apple store tomorrow after I get my watch just to see, on the off chance, if they have any bands. If they have the classic leather or Milanese I'll buy and cancel my online orders. Not likely however. I have a feeling they will be hard to get in stores for a while....
Has anyone ordered an extra band recently? I'm looking to buy a sport strap and really like the look of the leather loop. Apple Store says shipping for both is sometime in May.... I'm wondering if I should just hold out a bit and buy them when they appear in stores. Thoughts?
You could check beginning tomorrow to see if they'll actually be in stores, if not, May 1st is next Friday, so the wait shouldn't be too long if you ended up ordering. You can always cancel if you find it before.
I ordered a sports band & it's listed as shipping in May, but I'm going to check a few stores this weekend & see if they're available.
Modern Buckle
I'm worried about the Modern Buckle. The only band that is "unavailable" to order. It's not the most popular so I can only imagine it's a manufacturing problem. That doesn't look good for the SS with Modern Buckle I ordered 4/10 at 12:03. Still in Processing and I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel it.

I have two out of four bands with the shipping range that starts Wednesday. In order for it to arrive Wednesday I'd assume it'll begin Preparing For Shipment today.

I have a 38 green and 38 milanese with 4/29 - 5/12 delivery and a 38mm pink with "May" delivery. No movement on any of them. No charges, nothing. Really want the milanese!
The green will be returned as my 38mm green arrived yesterday. With no pinks even shipping yet, I'm resigned to the fact that I'll probably be waiting until May for that one.

I gave up on order SS 38 with modern buckle. Cancelled it after ordering 4/10 at 12:03. Went to Apple Store and the rep ordered SS 38 classic band 4/12 and she is wearing it!
Ordered the same. Bet it gets here before the first order would have.

I ordered the 38mm SS with the black sport band. It received it yesterday and can say I love the sport band! It is so comfortable. And it looks pretty good too. I have the Milanese and the classic leather band ordered. Now I am considering if I need all of them. I'll probably end up keeping all of them but I really am pleasantly surprised by the sport band.
