The Extra Band/Strap Processing/Shipping Thread

My Milanese still says May although I've already received my watch that had the same initial date. If they sold them in store, I'd just cancel my order. But if they had them in store, we wouldn't all be waiting now would we.

Because of the delay? If you don't order, you won't get one.

... and the sooner you order it, the sooner you get it. I mean, Apple would never think about having somebody who ordered after you from receiving their product before you, would they? 😉😡

Seriously, though, I'm tempted to wait for the 3rd party knockoffs, but I dubious as to the actual quality, especially with leather bands.
 
I have an April 29th - May 12th order window in the Milanese Band and I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival!

I ordered the 42mm SS with Black Sport Band and its prepping for shipment today, so hopefully I'll have it by Wednesday and the band will come shortly thereafter.

I also ordered a Black Leather Loop (June delivery), and I'm thinking hard about the green sport band. I just purchased the same color of green Nike Air Max shoes and realized after I purchased them yesterday that the colors would match quite well.

I only ordered the Black Leather Loop now because if it actually is June before it ships I figured I'd get in line early.

I wonder if Apple may be focusing on getting the Apple Watch orders out and the band orders may come towards the end of the shipping date range given? Just a thought.
 
In agreement, although I am interested in how people are finding the milanese loop during exercise. If it is intolerable I might put an order in for a White Sport Band, but I will find this out first hand tomorrow.
 
I ordered the the blue leather loop at the same time as when I ordered my watch. The watch arrived on Friday, but the leather loop says it'll be delivered by May 12th.

I find that the smaller sports band fits nicer than the bigger one so I ordered the blue leather loop in medium. I'll return one of them. The medium leather loop says, "Available to ship: June"
 
I ordered a 42mm white sport band at 0801hrs (UK Time) and it still states "order processing" - expected delivery May. 🙁

I expect I'll get my spare strap / band before I get my 42mm SS Space Black with SB Link. Again ordered at 0801hrs UK Time & got confirmation email at 0802hrs, but its still 13th May - 25th May estimated delivery. 🙁
 
I think that Apple is more concerned, and rightly so, to get watches to people faster than getting bands to people. You can't do anything with a band if you don't have a watch. They'll come, but I'd bet money that the bands are on the back burner right now.

I'm finding it stays on really tight during any amount of exercise I'm capable of doing, and the heart rate monitor is accurate. I feel weird sweating all over it, though, and am waiting on my pink sports band to make the look a little more casual.

Sounds good, the sweat might make me buy the sport band. However above all it is good to know it is remaining secure. Thanks.
 
Nada. However I don't expect anything anytime soon with so many people still waiting on their watches. I have my watch so I'll just have to wait and it's only fair as a lot of people don't even have their watches yet let alone spare bands.

I ordered a pink sports band and Milanese loop.
 
I already have my 42mm SS classic buckle, but I also ordered a medium brown leather loop at the same time. I originally wanted that, but the lead time for the watch+loop was 4-6 weeks, so I just got something else instead.

My delivery window for the loop is April 28th (tomorrow) -- 12th May. Hoping for it earlier.

If it looks nice, I will probably pick up the black version also.
 
My Blue Leather Loop preordered on launch day is still showing a delivery window of 28th April to May 11th.

My Milanese Loop preordered also on launch day is still showing as delivery in May with no specific date or delivery window.
 
I ordered a black sport band along with my classic buckle watch. Received the watch on the 24th. Sport band is still processing (says ships Apr 29-May 11).

Also ordered a link bracelet yesterday. Shipping says "May".

No I've seen the extra bands, they come in a long Box style Similar to the Sports packaging, they had one in the Imore podcast yesterday

I ordered extra Milanese loop 42mm, on launch day April 10th, 08:07
Expected 28 April – 11 may

I also ordered a 2nd charger at the same time 08:07 which was delivered yesterday

The Strap is still processing, but i think it'll move today(28), i'll update if the money is moved from my UK HBOS bank

No movemrnt as yet, but some lessons learned from last purchase

From my last statement it looks like Apple doesn’t charge you, also it won’t show up in your Bank account statements until the package has been received.

However if you check your actual Balance available that may give you an indication that some money is missing or being held, that’s what happened with my Sports Blue band, the balance was lower, but nothing showed up in the statement until it was signed for.

So check your available balance people!!!

Mine still processing. I would love it early in the estimate but hope Apple puts the resources to shipping any complete watches they have.
 
No movement for me either, still processing and bank available balance still the same!

Blue leather loop due 28th April and Black Sports Band due 30th April.
 
Anyone else get charged immediately for the band? I thought these only charged when they shipped?

I ordered a 42mm Milanese Loop on 4/25. It charged my card for $162.xx immediately. But the band is scheduled for June delivery, and in the processing stage.

Note here. Ordered a blue sports band, delivery 4/28-5/12. Still processing and no charge.
 
Has anybody received their "separate" strap/band orders yet?

I ordered a milanese to accompany my 42mm SS white sport, and was just wondering if anybody has seen movement on their accessory orders.

Was hoping because the watches are moving a bit quicker, so would the straps. Currently seeing a forecast of May.
 
I ordered a spare 42mm Black Sports Band on the 10th April - 8:08am (UK) email confirmation.

Still in processing, no payment taken. Delivers 30 April - 12 May via postal delivery.

Hoping to see some movement soon as I don't really want to take my milanese loop out for a run
