Added a machine

I know, it's terrible, but I wanted to add a little to our effort in this neck in neck race, so I added a PC to the mix. It's a dual 2.4Ghz Xeon W2K pc. It should help our team out a little.

make sure you have it run TWO istances of F@H, as the program can only use one processor at a time

Is it HT enabled? If so, I would recommend running 4 CLI clients (2 physical, and 2 virtual). You get a 10-15% increase output in points running 4 clients. Download 4 separate CLI clients and place them in their own folders. Start each one up and make sure each client has a NEW machine ID (1,2,3,and 4) and running the -local flag. Then you are on your way! Semper Fold!

Oh impressive, we are up ~650 points. My machines are all crunching massive Gromacs or Tinkers right now so it looks like I am stuck for the next 24hrs.

Edit: Lead is now out to 1500 points. Nice job!

Dual Xeon Setup

I have 2 instances running, 1 for each processor, but since it is a server I have to leave it alone for now, I don't want to totally saturate the machine it provides important Teminal Services in our totally *Mac* environment.

1st processor completed 100 frames in 12 hours
2nd processor completed 78 frames in 12 hours
not too shabby for a production server.
***

What happened with the taunting, and where are those guys? When are they planning to overtake us? Owh, I see 85 days.... So we speed up production a bit and we don't even hear about them anymore, how said, reminds me of a date who stood me up...

We just added 2 1.25GHz eMacs at work, and thus to the macrumors folding effort! Nothing more planned for awhile, but then again who knows?
