FALSE. What really matters color wise is when we are going to see a black face on the gold iPhone. Now that's something I would buy.

I tried to get my wife to switch it up this time (she always goes white/silver)... On delivery day, she found a gold iPhone 6 in her lab where she teaches and sent me a pic saying that she is glad she didn't get one -- she thought it was a bit gaudy for her tastes. I have always carried black phones (black/silver, black/slate, black/space gray) but I think I'm going to get white/silver next time to change it up a bit!

The owner of the found phone came back into the lab and she had it up at her instructor station. She told the student she moved it up there since she found it by one of the machines. She got a weird nod and the student walked away (no "thanks" or anything).

So you decided to post on a waste thread without actually reading the content first?

I'd say you're the real offender here. If you read the thread you would see there was an explanation behind the OP. Sure, it appears as a troll post in the beginning and the fact that it was posted to get a reaction out of people probably makes it wasteland worthy but there was motive behind it.

That's what you're being subjected to. But anyway you would think Gold was too gaudy at first and for most people it probably is, but once you get used to, gold is definitely my personality. I wouldn't be seen with anything less.
 
I'm in wireless sales and what I have seen is that the RG iPhone's are back ordered and the Gold iPhone's are also back ordered. The Silver and SG we have an abundance of.

Looks like the masses disagree.

I've also had every color of the iPhone 6 Plus as my personal device.

Silver is my favorite, gold is a second choice, and SG would be my third. If I had the option to get RG that would be my last choice.

But that's my opinion. The beauty of color variations is that you can get what you want to get.
 
Call me weird, but my girlfriend has the gold 6 and I like it a lot. If I end up getting the 6s, I'll probably go with the gold (although I do love space gray).

No iPhone color is ugly. Immature post...Period. And yours doesn't make sense either.
 
I personally like the regular Gold color. It reminds me of a titanium alloy hue that looks really good in most forms of ambient light.

I've seen the Rose Gold in person. My wife liked it, personnally not for me, but that's ok!
