The OP is just expressing his opinion, I see nothing wrong with that. I think Gold/Rose Gold would look nice with a black bezel, but as-is I'm happy with Space Gray to match my Macs. Why do people come in here just to pick fights?

So you got bored, that's one way to amuse oneself...I actually have no ill opinions towards the gold model (I had the Gold 6).
Actually the reason I made this thread is because I had a theory - there's both a strong attitude that a space gray or black front model is the "best" color iPhone, and at the same time there's so much "fighting" (is it really fighting though? come on) over the legitimacy over Rose Gold, I figured "Can a controversy be started over the least talked about color?"
My expectations were actually taken in the opposite direction - I expected many comments that people had towards the White 4, the Gold 5s, and now the Rose Gold 6s, and I was expecting more of just a general negative attitude towards the color as the same with Rose Gold.
Not to start fights among people, but it was interesting to see. Of course it's an extremely small sample size, but the people coming to defend the Gold, surprisingly, aren't the people opposing the Rose Gold. It's really the opposite of what I expected.
I'm dead. LOL!When I judge peoples professionalism it is on the color of their iPhone.
Gold is the best color FYI.
The imbalance of black and white bezels is somewhat annoying. I got the Gold 5s and lived with white until I upgraded to the 6s+, during which time I started to prefer black as seen on Macs. Happy with Space Gray now, though I was expecting to get the darker version seen on the rMB and new iPod Touch.I actually have no ill opinions towards the gold model (I had the Gold 6).

Fair enough, I don't agree with starting a thread just to provoke arguments.
Everyone's spending time talking about wether Rose Gold is pink or copper or whatnot, but let's get down to what really matters:
The GOLD model? Yuck!
Space Gray is professional, while Silver and Rose Gold are classy, but the Gold iPhone is just tacky and lame.
Did you mean to say you find the white face boring? Because the space gray's back is only a shade or two darker than the Silver version. I'm still in the camp hoping for an all black front and back iPhone like the 4 series. Not the weird, it's almost black, slate color we got with the 5, but "black" black. To me, the 4 was their best design. I hate that all those people who sucked at using their hands ruined it for the rest of us.I don't think silver is ugly. It's more like boring.
Not when they're stated as fact like the troll OP did.Opinions matter. That's what you're being subjected to anyway.
Au contraire. I had a silver 6+ and bought a silver 6S+. I even had a silver iPhone 5. I find black phones dull, gold gaudy and rose gold is for, erm, girls. Each to their own though, that's why choices exist.Silver is by far the ugliest
No space grey is boring. It's as dull as dishwater.I don't think silver is ugly. It's more like boring.
I'm a guy. 40ish. Professional in office. Travels frequently. Has family, a dog, and an apartment.
Ok.
I've had Black colored phones for the last 10 years. Nokia, Motorola, iPhones, Samsungs. All of them black.
To me, Black cell phones are boring.
I bought the iPhone 5s in Gold. I bought the 6 plus in Gold. I resold them for a good amount. The Gold colored 5's are discontinued (not made anymore) and are quite rare in the secondary market (as brand new).
I've heard rumors that 6 PLUS gold is also in short supply and not manufactured anymore.
I recently got the Rose colored iPhone 6s Plus. Rare and popular models = money if I do decide to resell it. In any case, I have a protective case so no one really knows what color is your iPhone anyway. Protect your investment, protect your goods!!!
I am thinking of returning my Rose Colored for a Gold colored. But I've had the Gold for 4 years now. What to do???
I want to carry a professional phone, but goodness, I want things that make me look cool for the young generation too!!
What to do?
But for now, the Rose will be worth something in the short run. The Gold iphones are worth something, so strike while the iron is hot. And buying the Black or Silver iphones are not only boring, it's repetitious, and you are buying a product that's manufactured in much more quantities. Why buy something that is so common?
I don't think silver is ugly. It's more like boring.
I read the title....
"The Gold iPhone is easily the ugliest"
No iPhone color is ugly. Immature post...Period. And yours doesn't make sense either.
I feel the reverse after having the silver iPhone for the past 3 years I have become bored with it. I tried Rose Gold but didn't care for it. So I just placed an order for the Space Gray 6S Plus a few minutes ago.Ive had space gray for awhile and I found it boring .. I feel silver is the classiest .. but that is just my opinion
