Sticking with AT&T. Faster LTE with ATT and the inability to do voice+data with iphones on Verizon made it the easiest decision I've made in a good while.

I'm curious who else decided to jump ship and to what carrier?

I jumped ship but used the life raft option and came back within my 59 day period.

For me I don't agree with their moves, but they are the best option for me for now.

I am also heading over to Verizon very soon. I have had AT&T for far too long. Hasn't been worth it for sometime now.

Well, I haven't followed everything in great detail, but for me, simultaneous data and phone call is a big deal. I think Verizon doesn't have this yet, likewise with Sprint. I'm otherwise looking forward to Voice over LTE in the future. Perhaps at that time it will be really the same with Verizon, Sprint and AT&T and we'll have real competition. Most likely T-Mobile will also join in. For now I am sticking with AT&T and my grandfathered unlimited plan. I am not 100% happy, but I doubt I'd be happier with any other cell phone provider at this time.

I'll jump when the waters are really nicer and warmer on the other shore :)

I really thought this was going to be the year I would switch to Verizon. There are a couple of things holding me back:

I live in San Antonio. One of AT&T's flagship cities. I can get LTE service pretty much anywhere. I clocked a solid 25Mb down the entire stretch of I35 from here to Austin. Other places I've gotten 45Mb down. The wife was able to stream Netflix uninterrupted on my iPad for that entire stretch.

I currently get a 25% service discount.

The thing that really killed it though was the lack simultaneous data/voice. I can't count the number of times this has been useful.

I hope all y'all drop AT&T, leaving me to enjoy a speedy, uncrowded network.

Yeah, come to think about it, please ditch AT&T, that might actually spur AT&T into providing better service, more competitive pricing and it will mean a less crowded network for the people left behind ;)

My experience with Verizon has been nothing but pleasurable. I hope all switching to VZW will enjoy the copious coverage; both 3G and 4G. Dropped calls simply aren't a problem with VZW for me, and I travel quite often.

Switched from T-mobile to AT&T for the iPhone 4 2 years ago. Signal has been horrible since the switch. Signal horrible at home, at work, and most places that I go to. Can't wait to get out of the AT&T hell. Switching to Verizon!

Been with AT&T since the 3G, but have switched to Verizon for the 5. It has more to do with the fact that I moved out of state last year, and Verizon just has better coverage. Verizon also has LTE, vs AT&T that does not currently here.

That combined with my husband already being on Verizon and us paying separately what we could pay to have much more on share everything made the most sense.

Switched to AT&T for the original iPhone and left Verizon. That was a sad day as I always loved Verizon. Finally making the switch back. All 4 lines on our family plan. Even paying term fees.
