bought the iphone 5s (16GB Gold) for my wife on Sept 26th and I'm still seeing a processing status. A few days later, I broke down and bought myself one too 9/29, (16GB Space Grey) and now they are both in processing limbo.
Phones are with AT&T so not sure if phone carriers have any reason for the delay but I keep checking everyday. Fingers crossed

Just ordered 16G, Gold 5S through Verizon
On the site it said all phones would ship by 10/21. The email I got said 11/11. So we'll see.

We got the same version, although mine isn't a carrier model as I just ordered it factory unlocked from Apple.com Hong Kong directly (which is good as now I don't have to add another 2 years to my contract!!!).
I'm guess what "Preparing for Shipment" means is that they went to the room where they keep the phones and picked it up, ready to put in a box and out the door. One would think it wouldn't take too long, but who knows really...
I Ordered my Sprint 16 GB Gold IPhone 5S on September 20th and today it just finally changed to Preparing for Shipment on Apple.com. just FYI.

Sometime between 02:01 and 02:30 on 09/20/2013 (Pacific Daylight Time, keep in mind we have Daylight Savings Time here in the U.S.A. Apple Store).

The reason I said 02:00 is I remember us having a T-Storm around 01:30 Central Daylight Time (Chicago Area) so I got my Time Zones all mixed up. Boy do I feel bad for those people who stood in line here in the rain.

Very stupid question, where or which app is that? I want to have it in my iPad.
Apple Store App as the other person said, in order to get it for your IPad you need to download it from the IPhone App Store.
Ordered a 16gb Space Grey 5s & Product Red case last evening.
Case is preparing for shipment and should arrive next Friday.
As for the iPhone... fingers crossed it will ship sooner rather than later.
