I ordered 10/1 for 32 Gold Verizon and still have no movement.
I was pissed that Apple offered no pre-order option. I figured it would be a real PITA to find one, but I've had my 64gb AT&T Space Gray since Saturday, September 21st. On a whim I walked up to a short line of 15-20 people in front my local Apple store, and within 25 minutes was on my way with a new 5s. That was one day after launch.
I can hardly believe the problems people are having getting a 5s.

Space Gray is not the problem. At least not in my area where you can get them almost anywhere. It's the gold ones which are extremely delayed and on short supply. They are shipping space gray orders from early/mid-October, but people that ordered their golds on Sept. 20-25 still are waiting.
The availability of Space Gray at the 20 or so Apple stores in the Minnesota/Wisconsin/Illinois area has been a real problem almost since launch. Of course gold has been almost impossible to find, but fortunately I never wanted that.
Its been out of stock here in Cincinnati too. Shipments never seem to make it past the Northeast

I stood on line over night for 8hrs on sept 19 got 4 new iPhones in space gray 16g got home and all of them where perfect except mine of course brought it back to apple store waited on line for 2hrs and it had firmware issues and they needed to replace it only problem was they didn't have any in stock so store rep.order it for me and since I was gonna have to wait 2 weeks for it I ordered gold off apple store. Now it's been 4 weeks and still no iPhone I called 2 weeks ago they gave me $50 off my iPhone and said it should be here in a week. So I called today complaining I still haven't received my iPhone when will it ship.the rep said she would be glad to gave express shipping for free and a case..I told her I was still very unhappy..wtf it's will be a month this week..I need my iPhone any one order on September 25 and received it??? Come apple get it together..

I ordered at 7:30 AM Eastern on 9/20. 32 GB Gold ATT. Still have not received it. I am getting anxious! And the only reason I did not order in the first hour was bc my husband stood in line for me at an apple store but they did not have any golds.
I'm very anxious too..especially since i traded in my iPhone 5.I hope the gold is worth the wait my fiancé and kids love their space gray 5s 16g there always bragging about the finger scanner..lol well I hope a gold rush goes out sooner then my delivery date of nov1.. Keep me updated
I placed an order on 10/16 for the 16GB Gold from Sprint.com. According to their website, it will ship in up to 8 weeks from the order date. Although I hope that it ships in the earlier part of that that timeframe rather than later, I'm expecting it to ship closer to 8 weeks so I don't set myself up for disappointment hoping that it will come sooner than the latest date possible based on their timeframe. However, I will be keeping up with the posts on Sprint's website about people's shipment times for the 16GB Gold in relation to their order dates for those who ordered their phones around the same time I did.

I dont see how this is possible as AT&T stock in on backorder for all gold models. Purchased 9/27 and still processing so you waltz in and buy on 10/7 and have yours already in less then 2 weeks? 28-42 day estimate and you get it in little over a week. Doesn't sound right. Must be lucky

I ordered my gold 16gb Sprint on 10/13 and it hasn't shipped yet.
Oh my! I ordered on 9/28 - 64GB Gold AT&T and as of this moment I still show shipping between 10/24 - 10/28, arrival by 11/4.
Edit (10/24 @ 2:39pm): Mine just went into PREPARING FOR SHIPMENT!
Edit (10/25 @ 11:31am): Shipped this morning, departed ZhengZhou (10:15pm) with a scheduled delivery date of 10/31. I'm on the east coast (Charlotte, NC)
