Pre-order possibility

Hello guys, I'd like to ask you this: in 4 weeks I will travel to US to Westminster, Colorado and I'd like to buy a contract-free version of iPhone 5s/32GB there (T-Mobile). Coincidentally, a friend of mine just returned from a business trip, he visited this Apple Store - http://www.apple.com/retail/flatironcrossing/ - where he was told that this particular version is not available right now and most probably will be unavailable even in next 2-3 weeks. My question: is there any chance to pre-order this phone in a way that it will be delivered to this Apple Store with my name on the order list so I can pick it up on 2nd of December? Thank you very much for any help or advice!

Received tracking code from Apple this morning with delivery date of 11/1.

I orderd mine here in Sweden via Swedish Apple Store 1 min after it got launched on Friday 25th 01.01 (which was 00.01 UK time, apparently Apple did go after UK time..)

Still havent got any update about my order, i did get est. delivery 13th - 19th November. But cmon, ship it already!!!!!!

I'm am going to New York in early December (from Ireland) and hoping to buy a gold iPhone 5S.

Do you think stock issues will be resolved in the next few weeks? Ideally I would love to order online now and get it shipped somewhere, then collect when I arrive but I don't know anyone in New York so have no where to ship it

I'm guessing it's just pot luck if they are in stock when I'm there. Any ideas?

I cancelled my 10/16 order at Sprint.com for the 16GB Gold and ordered it at Apple.com today. The wait time at Sprint is 8 weeks and although I tried to wait it out, it doesn't make sense to do so when Apple is shipping in less than half the time. It's slated for delivery between Nov. 22 - 29.

Did you order online? I ordered online but regretted not choosing personal pickup, is there any way for me to tell Apple that I prefer to pick it up at the store instead? But I just checked and all the stores near by location don't actually have stocks too.. but if I just wait and if they have stock, and my 5s hasn't shipped, can I just go to the store and tell them to mark the order as complete or something and just pick up my 5s there?

Sincerely i don't know if apple offers a personal pick up option, never heard about that. I live in Italy, i didn't order online but from a famous european tech-chainstore that has a selling point in my city, so i just went there, and they told me it is going to arrive in just 4 days because they had a lot of 16gb orders but no 32gb, so they had to order mine only (it seems here in italy 90% of people get 16gb iphones), i hope to pick it up on friday. So i don't know how the thing works in apple stores, but i think that as you told, if your order has not shipped yet and stores have stock, you can just go there, cancel your order and take your iPhone you already payed online, but it is better for you asking for infos at your local store.

Mine's been in Korea for a full 24 hours now, nothing has changed. My delivery date wasn't pushed back (delivery date of Nov. 1). I hope it doesn't get pushed back.

Usually it's pretty accurate. Sometimes they will wait until the last minute to do anything and it will still arrive on time. That's just with my experience with ups and amazon prime.

My phone has been in Korea since the 28th and hasn't budged yet. Delivery estimate is still saying tomorrow Nov.1st. Let's just hope they are behind in their status updates or once they get to the US everything is much quicker!

I have the same shipping status & it seems with it the estimated delivery date has disappeared.

Am I missing something, or is it currently unknown?

So my shipment had been sitting in Korea since the 29th and my delivery date stated today by end of the day for quite some time. I check it this morning and now the delivery date is gone and it says it was just offloaded today at 10:34am in Korea and that pkg shipped, delivery being scheduled.

Can anyone comment on how long it usually takes once it leaves Korea?

My phone got offloaded at the same time as yours. My delivery date disappeared, so who knows when it will arrive.
