The "I just bought/ordered/got/shipped my new iPhone 5s/5c" thread, [Merged]

I ordered TWO 16GB iPhone 5S 16GB Gold on the 6th of Nov. They just changed to preparing for shipment! :cool:

I'm having a great time here in Incheon, South Korea. It's a little cold and dark in this container. We haven't really moved for a couple days and, as you know, we spent an unscheduled extra day in ZhengZhou China. You know, just for the hell of it. You can wait, right?

Anyway, I hear we're off to Anchorage next then maybe on to your house eventually but don't wait up- we like to take our sweet time and that UPS delivery date is just a pipe dream.

See ya sucker.

Ugh, so still nothing changed. It's still processing... Tomorrow would have been the first possible delivery date :( I don't know why it has to take THAT long...

I'm glad to see that your sense of humor is still intact...or maybe it's insanity setting in?? Yipes!

At the very least, you know it's on the way...slow as it might be going! When I was waiting and waiting, so impatiently, I began to worry that I might not get mine before I croaked!! Fortunately, that wasn't the case. So, I'll continue to check on you and pray that your sarcastic iphone will finally wend its way into your hot little hands!!!!

I do believe I am slowly spiraling down into a rainbow colored psychedelic twisted full blown level 5 code red delusional brain melt down waiting for this thing. lol .. Am I dramatic?

That sarcastic phone better start scooting along before I lose it completely. I do believe I'll (it'll) write me a new letter everyday until it arrives.

Btw, only Apple people are this creative.
 
Attempted to buy in store 11/07, no luck. Decide to order via Apple Online Store that evening, ordered Gold 64GB 5S. Given delivery estimate of 14-21 days. Next morning get email from Apple my phone is shipping, estimated delivery date of 11/19. Later in the day UPS gives me a tracking number, the phone arrives in Zhengzou where it sits for almost 2 days. UPS tracking says delivery date 11/14 by end of the day !! Then off to Incheon where it sits for 2 days and 2 hours. Then today it departs Incheon, no destination mentioned.

Interesting to see what all you poor folks have endured. I'll update with my status as time passes. I've been pretty lucky all things Apple the last 12 days or so (see Apple Hit With Class-Action Suit Over Failing 27 inch Displays thread in News). I think there are a LOT of iPhones being delivered on 11/14... I must have just gotten into the delivery chain as the door was closing. We'll see.

1 hour later: Package now in Anchorage, AK.

I'm very confused about the shipping times. How can people who ordered in October still not have their phones, while others who ordered last week have them so soon (especially those waiting for non-gold phones)?

+1... i also thought about that.. but its would be kinda weird.. no status update, they dont take the money, and your iphone is knocking on your door?:) that would be awsome!..

Well, hte reasons might be:

1. US store -- i think it might take longer to ship yours, as US customs is heavier... whats the est. delivery date?
2. 16gb
3. Gold
