Everyone and their mom's were picking up their iPhone at the UPS Customer Service Center last Friday. Waited about 15 mins in line for mine. Went home and first thing I noticed when I opened the box of my iPhone 6+ is what a beauty it is in person. No regrets to this day and though I've been getting the always "so big" comments, others have said it's beautifully designed.

Im in the same boat I have ATT through my local phone company and I'm first on their waiting list and they called me friday and told me that they where getting the 128 in and that the 64 is still on back order :(

That is understandable, the 64GB is the best-selling capacity choice since 16 is too small and 128 is too much for most people.

And just to update...

Ordered two 64GB 6 SG & Gold on 9/26. Later that evening, my order switched to Preparing to Ship and the pending charges showed in my bank account. Estimated delivery Oct 15th - 20th.

30 mins ago, I received the emails that my phones have shipped and Apple shows a delivery of Oct 8th,

Not so fast my friend...

Clicked on that UPS tracking link and BOOM, the phones are on the way to Alaska right now and Brown will be at my door by 10/3. Just took Apple one week to process, package, ship and deliver my phones. Now that is efficiency!!

Two lessons I've learned,

1) Always order Apple products on Apple's site or in store. No question, it will get to you faster.

2) If you forget lesson # 1, no worries! Cancel your order and go to the Apple site and order your products. You will get it faster :)

This is the 2nd year I've ordered with AT&T, only to cancel and then order through Apple. I won't forget the lessons learned next time!!

Sigh... Now, which case do I buy

It's a beautiful phone.

I think it just depends on how you are going to carry it around with you. I don't use a purse, in the summer I like it fit in my pants pocket. The 6+ seems to just too big for that.

I went for the 6. It's big enough. The screen is huge compared to the 5s and it does pretty much everything I want a phone to do.

Also, I guess it depends on what you use your phone for.

But if it works for you, it's perfect.

Good News!

Knowing it would take at least a month I wasn't surprised to see that the estimated shipping date was 10/17 (ordered on 9/19th).
Today I got an email that I will receive the phone TOMORROW!!

That's about 20 days earlier than I predicted.

Estimated ship date was 10/31-11/11. I just got my iPhone 6 Plus TODAY! I am an AT&T customer and am busy putting the finishing touches (bringing my number over, etc.0 on my set up. It is beautiful, I got the gold one and it looks like it was made by a goldsmith. The screen looks like porcelain. It is a lovely thing, not uncomfortable or too big at all. Honestly, this one is a gem. Very glad I got the Plus.

Gives me some hope! I ordered mine Sunday morning, but i assumed they didn't process orders on sunday, which they didn't so maybe tonight? :p it's still on "processing items".

I got the tmobile nocontract 128gb plus space grey, i'm hoping since this is the most expensive model, that they have more in stock since more people seem to be going with the smaller and cheaper sizes. But, it probably only means they built fewer of them. so perhaps more rare.

My expected date is Oct 28 - Nov 4, even if thats true, it's still much sooner than the dates i see people posting who ordered long before i have.

Also, seems that constantly refreshing the order status page doesn't help :p

I can't check to see if I'm charged since i used Apple Financing (why not? always nice to build credit) and I can't check that card until i actually get the card in a few days. Maybe i should have just paid now using debit/or current credit card.

You guys are giving me alot of hope! but even if i have top wait til mid October it'll be fine. The case and mounts i need arent even available yet :D

thanks for the updates.

I would bet you will see some movement today or tomorrow. Once your order moves out of "Processing," It should take between 12 and 48 hours to ship. When you see that they are "Preparing for Shipment," they are doing just that.

Not sure about the 128 GB but it seems safe to think that if Apple gives you an estimate shipping date, subtract that by 10 days. When my order was processing, their estimate was 10/15 to 10/20 but I'm getting the phone on the 3rd.

Its funny how they grossly overestimate shipping times so they are applauded when they deliver way ahead of schedule. Oh well, I'm not complaining!

Yes, classic under promise, over deliver! It's smart really.

Nice, when did your order?!

6 or 6 +?

I ordered my Verizon iPhone 6 16GB in space gray on September 26th. I was given the estimate of "October 15th-20th" when it processed a couple days ago, but today it shipped and now Apple says "Delivers October 8th" but UPS has "Scheduled Delivery: Friday, 10/03/2014, By End of Day"

Should I plan on Apples date of 10/8, or UPS' date of 10/3??

I haven't really had any issues with the phone being in my pocket. Shorts from Banana Republic were a perfect fit for me. Basketball shorts were a perfect fit for me also. I have yet to put it in my straight leg jeans yet though but I'm sure it won't be an issue.

Go by UPS. They're accurate with their deliveries unless an exception occurs that makes your phone arrive on the 8th.

Feeling a little uneasy atm. My 6+ was shipped Sat, moved to Shanghai and been chillig there Sunday and seemingly all day today. Scheduled delivery for this Thurs, hoping it's an update delay.

As of yesterday (Sunday, September 28, 2014), my iPhone 6 from Verizon has been shipped! It should arrive tomorrow at the latest. Kind of bummed that I didn't get it today.

Update on mine. While I was sleeping last night it move from China to Korea and then was already in flight to Alaska. I also believe it just left for Kentucky a few minutes ago, assuming I'm tracking the right plane. The delivery date has moved back to Wednesday.

BTW, I ordered mine last Monday, from Apple and it was a iPhone 6, T-Mobile 64 gb, Space grey model.

I'm hoping mine will soon follow. I ordered a 64GB 6 SG and a 6+ Gold on the evening of 9/26. I imagine the 6+ will still take awhile.

In your original email, which time frame did they give you for "available to ship"? Mine says available to ship: 3 - 4 weeks.
Maybe this estimate is based more on what they have in stock.
Because it is different than the estimated delivery dates.

Since you're already yours I'm interested in what they originally told you.

Thanks

I cracked! 64GB iPhone 6 Space Gray!

Well I bought my iPhone 5c 32GB Blue in April...my dad had an upgrade but he said he really didn't need/want the iPhone 6 or even the 5S but he really wanted a iPhone 5c! He was disapointed that Apple discontinued the 16GB model though, then he asked if my iPhone was a 16GB and I said its a 32GB and he said he would buy me an iPhone 6 in exchange for my 32GB iPhone 5c :O I broke under the pressure! We went to the Verizon store and I ordered the 64GB iPhone 6 in Space Gray, October 31st is the ETA :O :'[ if I would have gotten the 128GB model or any of the Gold models the guy said I would have had the phone buy thursday but I didn't want to push the envelope so I settled for 64GB even though I'm trading my iPhone 4 in for the gift card.....I almost feel like a jerk but after I held the phone I realized how nice it was, the 6 Plus was a fricken monster though, no way I would buy that as a phone :O For some reason I think I'm gonna miss my 5c, I still love the blue plastic casing but VoLTE, Carrier Aggregation (probably not gonna be used too much on VZW), Global FDD LTE support, Touch ID, and the camera all are major selling points for me.

Update: Ordered from AT&T a normal 6 on September 26th and got ship date of October 7-16th. My status changed to "shipped" tonight and with overnight shipping from Tennessee and being one state away I should be seeing my phone sometime during the day.

My first iPhone (Bye-Bye Note3)

I ordered a gold 128gb for AT&T (Premier Customer) on 27 SEP and have an ESD (Expected Ship Date) of 11/05-11-14.:apple:

Lol our phones might be shipping on the same plane :p

I had the exact same thing happen to me, exact dates and everything. I was sooo disappointed when I ordered mine on 9/26 and got dates of over 3 weeks away; October 15-20th was my estimate. Then, yesterday, I got an email saying my phone shipped (Verizon iPhone 6, 16GB in Space Gray) and the delivery date was expected to be October 8th. I was very, very excited for that date. Then, on top of that, I checked UPS and lo and behold, October 3rd!

That is seriously 2 weeks sooner than what I thought, and I am insanely happy that I won't have to wait such an enormous amount of time. Friday, here I come! :D

Yup I have to clear my current 5 16gb out almost daily now they should of ditched the 16 and went with 32 64 and 128

You know if it wasn't for me losing my unlimited data I would port over to regular AT&T rather than go through my local phone company like I have been for the past 7 years lol. It pisses me off that i cant even order my phone from apple cause they don't have access to my AT&T account because it's through my local phone company
