Not sure how long it takes to go from "Preparing for Shipment" to "Shipped" but from what I've read, it seems to be random. Ive read people who have shipped in 24 hrs and then I've read some people who took 5 days to ship. Im hoping it ships quick though!
My phone is headed for Rockville,MD! I'm hoping this phone ships quick! ETA of Nov. 3 - Nov.10 by Apple!

24 hours. It went to preparing shipment yesterday and I had an email this morning at like 2 AM saying it had shipped and it provides tracking number showing phone was already on the move.
I chose the 2-3 day shipping option which may help move it along quicker, but couldn't be sure of that.
That has to be the best news I've heard so far. I also got the 2-3 day shipping. and i changed to "preparing for shipment" sometime last night. what was your ETA with apple during your "preparing for shipment" phase?
I ordered 10/6 and my ETA is 10/31-11/7. Looks like ill get it right on time. Fingers crossed

iPhone 6, 64gb Space Gray, AT&T at an Apple store. I felt a little 
when mentioning Personal Pick up to Apple sales rep and she yells "You're a V.I.P.! just go into that short line there," while dozens and dozens of people were waiting on other lines.
Anyway, I enjoy the 6. It's a nice phone.

Well this is interesting. Origin scan for my phone (6/SG/64GB) shows Nashville TN, 10/24. No mention of China. Original delivery scheduled for 10/28 now claiming early delivery tomorrow 10/27.
Keeping my fingers crossed that UPS's tracking info isn't all futzed up.
Just in case anyone gives a hoot (or ends up in a similar boat...
Origin scan showed Nashville on Friday night 10/24 and estimated early delivery Monday 10/27. I'd selected hold-for-pickup via MyUPS since I knew I wouldn't be home and could swing by UPS at lunch or after work.
No change all day Monday, finally showed departure scan from Nashville Monday evening. Then the usual pieces to ATL and then to the UPS customer center, where I picked it up today.
For some reason it did not ship from China but came from TN. Strange. No indication of it being anything other than new. *shrug*
Ordered my 128GB Space Gray iPhone 6 Plus on Sunday, October 26 from the Verizon Wireless Website with an estimated ship date of Friday, November 14!
Still stuck in Incheon as of 10/28 @740pm KST- Arrival Scan.
Per UPS Site it says 10/31 delivery date but just got ANOTHER email from UPS My Choice just now stating that it's 10/30 delivery by end of day.
I don't know what to believe anymore ###

My 6+ was stuck in Incheon for 5 days (23rd-28th). Went from Incheon to Anchorage to Louisville to Dallas/Ft Worth in about 24 hours.
UPS tracking original scheduled delivery date was 10/28. They stated delivery date was unavailable yesterday, phone was still in Incheon. I was tripping out. UPS tracking states on truck for delivery today. Thank God, not sure how much more of this I could take.

Ordered on Oct. 4th. T-Mobile 6+ Space Gray 128GB. Our phones must be on the same flights!!
I called to check on our order. The rep pretended to check on it and tell me it could be "next week". Of course we all know "next week" never comes. Then we laughed and laughed...
This is frustrating. I could've upgraded in August but decided to wait for the 6 instead of getting the 5 then.
