I could access store.apple.com as many times as I wanted after 12:15 am PDT using chrome. With safari, never succeeded.
At first I was focusing on command + R with safari, but I realized that I needed one 6 and one 6+ paid separately. Then I launched chrome and immediately logged in the official website. Finally I got a 6+ and a 6(both are 64 unlocked grey) at 12:17 and 12:19 respectively. Also helped my friends preordered some, we are waiting for the launch day and pick them up!
That's my experience.

I preordered early the 128GB and it originally said 9/19 just checked it now deliver by 10/14. Really bummed, may try my luck at a VZW store.

I was one of the many who stayed up to preorder when the servers went live. Like many, I noticed the Apple Store was down. With time passing I quickly hit AT&T and tired to order. After an insane amount of errors, I was finally able to get the order to go through at 2:58 AM (58 minutes after the servers went live). When I placed the order the shipping date was set for the 19th. When I got my confirmation email it was set for the 19th.

This morning I woke up to an email saying my order will not ship until 10/31 - 11/11. How can they push it back almost two months! What upsets me is after reading the posts on this site, it sounds like the are many people who ordered way after me, but will get theirs only a few days late.

I'm thinking about going to AT&T on Friday and waiting in line to see if I can pick one up; what do you all recommend?

My order said the same thing, I think they will come sooner.

As of Saturday 4pm "Still Processing" , my card as been charged, and delivery still says 9/19

Sounds like your order was at the same time as mine. Was your order pushed back at all? Mine was pushed back to 10/31 - 11/11

I was worried there for a minute, just checked and both orders still show 9/19 but I hope that doesn't change! I can't believe yours got pushed that far out!

I did the same thing at my local EE store in the UK.

128GB Space Gray iPhone 6 Plus for me
64GB Gold iPhone 6 Plus for the wife

I was the first one in the store at 08:00, was told I'd get an email confirming availability from EE. The guy in the store thought I'd be able to pick it up on launch day, hope they have stock!

A quick note on EE UK pricing.

I'm going for a 2 year contract:

128GB 6+ £149.99 up front
£75.99/month for 50GB Data and unlimited minutes/texts

So for a £789 handset, I'm getting a £640 subsidy = £26.67/month over 24 months.

So effectively I'm paying £49/month for 50GB of 4G data

Mmm. I don't know. You could get an unlimited data contract sim only from 3- for just 20 quid a month. And not be only halfway thru your contract when the 6s plus comes out next year

I guess I got EXTREMELY lucky?I got out my late 08 MacBook Pro and kept hitting refresh,NOW granted I did have all my account info ready for lightening fast checkout I got my confirmation email by 12:08 a.m Which is actually 2:08 a.m where I live but yea I ordered a t mobile-off contract space grey 16gb 4.7 at full price 8 minutes after the servers went up.My bank showed the $0 and $707.41 charges by 8 a.m the next morning and haven't had any problems since!

It seems to me that the 4.7s went up inventory wise much faster than the 5.5s but that's the earliest time I've seen period.

They do both, but I live in Southern California too and every order I have made from the Apple Online Store has shipped FedEx. When I ordered restore discs from AppleCare though they shipped UPS.

Apple Store finally went up around 5:15am est for me. I was able to get a 6 128gb space grey unlocked tmobile for use with ATT with delivery on 9/19. Still processing but card has been charged.

I was able to start my preorder on ATT's website at 11:52 and finished at 12:02 (Pacific). I got a Space Grey 128GB 6 Plus and it is telling me shipping in 14-21 days. I saw a few people got confirmation dates of on or about the 19th. I find it hard to believe they went that fast! Hopefully my delivery date improves!

I haven't seen anyone who ordered the 6 Plus get a delivery date for the 19th.
I had mine ordered at 1:55am (CT) and it's set for delivery on 10/2-10/8

Yesterday afternoon, they had 9/19 deliveries still available for the 6.
