I been reading some of the post you guys/girls made, it seems like only the 128GB and 64GB phones are shipping right now. :/

If someone's phone is "Shipping", it doesn't really matter at this point. If the carrier/apple won't deliver before release date, your phone will just sit in a warehouse somewhere. The only difference is whether or not you have a tracking number to see where your phone currently resides.

My 6 plus switched to preparing for shipment last night estimated delivery 10-31 to 11-11 but since it's preparing for shipment should I expect it the 19th? I have been charged for the 6 plus already too

Ordered via AT&T site I assume? If so I'm in the same boat with a 6+, I'm not counting on it being here 9/19.

same here, i hope so

For better or worse, my wife and I are leaving Sprint (16 months into 24 month contract) for Verizon. Bill will be more and less data (grandfathered in Unlimited plan vs 10GB (+1GB free for 24 months)) but much faster data.

We both got 64GB iPhone 6 (mine in Space Grey and hers in Silver). Hers will ship and by the 19th but mine not until October 7. We can't activate until I get mine (so hers will sit in a box for a couple of weeks).

I hope we are making the right decision. We aren't loaded and data plans are still way more expensive than they should be...

Nope. I have 2 16gb 6+'s that are preparing to ship right now. Going to be delivered on the 19th. I think most of the orders for the 19th are preparing to ship, regardless of storage.

Has anyone with apple care included in there order got there order to say preparing for shipment?

Yep! 6+ 128 Silver AT&T with AC+ ordered via App @ 3:29 EST just updated to Preparing for Shipment :D still has 9/19 est delivery date!

My order (iPhone 6 128gb space grey GSM) is stuck on "Processing items" with a 9/19 delivery date and no charge to my card yet. I ordered Friday at 7:15am PST via apple.com, but I still have my reserved spot from the iPad app from 2:20am (pushed back to sunday by 4pm).

Anyone else in my situation? Should I cancel my current order and go with the earlier reservation? Or will it even matter since apple still says 9/19 delivery? Just worried as lots of people are getting charged sooner and preparing for shipment already.

OK, so I'm noticing a bit of a pattern here and I'm just curious to see if as a group we can figure this out.

I ordered my iPhone 6 Plus 64GB model in Space Grey at 3:06am EST (12:06am PST) via AT&T's website. I had to be within the first group to get one ordered. When I selected my phone, at the time it said ships 9/19.

That was that, then yesterday I check the shipping order and now my device is listed at 10/13.

That in and of it self is odd, but when you combine it with my wife's doing the same thing and three of my friends, it begins to make me wonder.

What if Apple never had plans to actually ship the 6 Plus on the 9/19. They simply announced it, opened it for pre-orders but everyone just gets delayed thinks they missed out on the first initial batch. This would explain the rumors that we've all heard that the iPhone 6 Plus would not be ready in time for the Sept. launch.

While it's possible that some people may get a few, I get this gut feeling that stores won't have ANY in stock and that Apple mis-lead the public that the Plus model would be ready in time for a full launch.

So, who else ordered theirs only to see them slip into Oct?

What model?

In the past Apple has never missed their ship date once announced.
The only difference in shipping times is timing and limited supplies on certain models.

128gb space gray 6 plus tmobile

Ordered around 5:25am eastern on 9-12-14 through Apple site. Was trying to get on to order from 3:00am.
My order shows 7-10 business days with 10/1-10/6 delivery. Still have hope I will receive on 9/19.

Regardless call apple and have the expedite your shipping so you can get it end of september . They do it for free.

After much bouncing back and forth between the Apple website and the iPad Apple Store app, I finally got through on the app around 2:20AM CDT on 9/12. I got an email confirming my order of the iPhone 6 Plus 64GB on AT&T to be delivered 9/19.

I didn't have the Apple Store app until the night before, when I remember thinking that I should go ahead and download it just in case. I'm really glad I did! :D

I called to try get my shipping changed and was told that my delivery date would be longer if I changed the shipping. It did not make sense to me, but I did not want to risk getting pushed back further than Oct 1-6. She ( the CSR rep ) said I was in the second shipment, whatever that means. We all know CSR reps are not the best for accurate statements.

I agree supplies will be very tight on the plus. I still believe mine will be here. I ordered my Gold 128 Plus from Apple Store App with 9/19 delivery. It now says preparing for shipment and still says delivery by 9/19. I think stores will have some, but probably between 10 and 50 per store. Not sure carriers or anyone else will have any.

I did that with one of my orders and it changed from Oct 1-6 to Sep 29-Oct 2. nothing bad happened . Ive done the same with previous orders that aren't delivering on launch day.

This thread is my favorite every year. Something about all those iPhones taking their magical journeys... ;)

AT&T iPhone 6 Gold 64 GB
AppleCare
Ordered via Apple; finally made it through on app at 3:40 am (EDT) on 9/12
Delivery 9/19
Today status switched to preparing for shipment

My order was in the same position before, but I was able to see a charge to my card shortly after placing the order. My order recently went from "Processing" to "Preparing for Shipment" and still shows delivery on September 19th.

As long as your order is still processing, I would personally keep it. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. If in doubt, try contacting Apple to verify that your order is still active. Otherwise, Monday is when your order will be more than likely shipped out.

I ordered 2 phones, a plus and a normal. This was 2 separate orders at 12:30am from iPad app.

The plus was charged and is now preparing for shipment and the 4.7 still says processing like yours and not charged yet.

Also, the plus is coming to my home and the 4.7 is a store pick up if that means anything.
