yeah no one who ordered thru verizon has it charged yet. its just a little odd, thats all.

My order for two 6 64GB space grey changed from processing to preparing for shipment last night. Delivery date is still 9/19.
For those who have figured out tracking numbers? Is it just using the fedex reference with order number? If so.. blah nothing for me =[

Both of the 2 on my order moved into "Preparing for Shipment" at the same time (Saturday i think).

Well I can surely make the assumption that the time you ordered has nothing to do with when your phone is preparing for shipment (of course if you are just now ordering that may be a problem)I got my order through 8 minutes after they went live -also the first group to go through actually I would love to know exactly what number in line I was cause I know I was on up there. My card was charged by 8 a.m the next morning and my order is still processing.I live 45 mins from Memphis so if mine ships from Memphis it will sit in a warehouse for quite a few days.I will keep u updated.

I don't think it's a verizon issue. We placed two orders from two apple ids at about 12:06a MST I stupidly put to have my phone picked up in the store and still haven't been charged. Status shows prosessing items still. The other phone however was to be shipped, and they did pull out 9/12 around 10am MST, and that has changed to preparing for shipment. I've contacted apple several times because I want to make sure everything is ok with my order, I even assumed maybe due to the crashing of the site they may have had a glitch on my CC info, they verified everything was fine, I updated my card either way hoping that would speed the process and still no luck, still shows processing for 9/19. Am I just over reacting? Has anyone gone this long on the preorder to see a charge? My previous years of doing this the charge has always been immediately withdrawn. Also I don't think it's the pick up option as I have seen many people state they've chosen the same thing and have been charged. Help #
I was on at midnight Cupertino (2am here in Jamaica!), using Chrome and the iPad iOS app, but both kept saying "We'll be back soon".
I switched to Safari around 2.30am and managed to get straight in.
I got my confirmation emails at 2.37am if that helps?

FWIW. I ordered through AT&T website two phones:
First was my wifes 16GB gold 6. Ordered at 3:04 EST 9/12. Status is "preparing for shipment" however the *estimated ship date changed for 9/17-9/18 to 9/23-10/1. WTF
Second was my space gray 16GB 6. Ordered at 3:17 EST 9/12 Staus is also "preparing for shipment"..estimated ship date changed from 9/17-9/18 to 10/23-10/31..double WTF.
We both received the text "congratulations, your order has been processed. we will notify you when your item has shipped".
The charges are now pending for the amounts of the phones. My plan is to just wait it out, if shipping dates havent adjusted by Thursday night...who knows.
