The "I just bought/ordered/shipped/received my new iPhone 6/6 Plus" thread

Ordered my new iPhone plus through verizon yesterday. Lady on phone said it ships out oct 14. I look online today and it says nov 4th. Any chance of it shipping sooner?

It sounds like they must have used Surepost, which is a partnership of part UPS and part post office. From one of their last hubs UPS submits the info to your post office electronically and then at some point deliver to a main post office hub and then it is given to your local post office to get it to you whenever lol.
 
My tracking stuff just updated! It's in Ontario and I'm on the other side of the country but it says by end of day 9/19!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so excited to see mine left Louisville 3 or 4 hrs ago but now it has just stopped in DFW Dallas but I don't live in Texas and I thought it would come straight to my state but now it is another hub first. The 2nd one of ours just left Louisville a half hour ago so I am sure it has to go to Dallas first also so I am more worried about that one lol - it has to go to Dallas and then go one state up from there and then to us by tomorrow supposedly.

Mine just landed in Dallas! Only 5 hours from where I live.
 
I'm a little confused by this. See screenshots attached.

First screenshot is of my tracking straight from UPS. I requested for it to be held at will call and I plan to grab it tomorrow morning before work. Everything seems okay here.

Second screenshot is of my tracking from a third party tracking site that shows an additional scan in Philly. It is marked with an end icon and I'm worried something got messed up. I'm located not far from NYC. Confused.

Thoughts?

Thank goodness I decided to pick up at will call. I'm supposed to get my case today via ups and nothing as of yet. UPS has been unreliable in my area. Especially with amazon shipments

Mine does too now!

Well, I think it should be able to make it to North York, ON by tomorrow :p Only bad thing is the UPS guy usually shows up to my work around 2-3pm. Guess it doesn't make too much of a difference seeing as I'll need to restore my iPhone 5s backup onto the 6+ anyway.

Being an Apple customer teaches you patience.
 
My local EE store called today (was unable to take the call)
They left me a message to call that ASAP as they need to speak to me about my new iPhone.

So called back in a panic thinking the worst.
All they wanted is to book a time slot for me to come to store to pick it up.
They had a 8am slot, so I booked that. They will have someone with my phone and paper work ready for me when I walk in at 8 :D
