OK...I did it, but I am totally nervous
I arranged to pick up my Plus at UPS in the morning. The UPS truck doesn't typically deliver to my house until the evening and have tomorrow off anyway. I will head out early and hopefully have it in my hands at 8:30am.
FYI: The confirmation that I got from them:
Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 A.M. - 6:30 P.M.
Saturday, 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
Package Available: Friday, 09/19/2014
I did the same thing, first time doing it this way. Hoping I can pick it up first thing when they open. Keeping my fingers crossed!
I'm getting very tempted to do this or try to scheduled a 2 hour block. Has anyone had success doing this in the past? I've read of possible delays.

I added premium to My Choice and the 2 hour window option no longer appears. Does it for anyone else?
It looks like my two options now are: wait for UPS to deliver or pick it up at a UPS center about 15 minutes away starting at 10am. Is the pick-up option reliable?

Just updated to Departed scan from Louisville. My guess is that it's headed to Dallas.
Edit: Just checked the iPhone 6 tool on FlightAware and mine is currently circling Dallas awaiting for approval to land due to t-storms.

Don't see it on my end, but I Googled that message and found that same notice:
There are restrictions in place for the delivery of your iPhone:
A signature is required - unless you pre-sign with an Apple e-InfoNotice (see below).
The package will not be left by the driver (someone must be present for delivery).
UPS cannot change the delivery address

I just changed mine to pick up at a local hub. I can get it beginning at 10am tomorrow.

What does "Electronic Shipment Information Received for Package by Post Office" mean?
Tracking my Spigen case on UPS and it has said it's in my town since last night but the postman just left and didn't have it...

I didn't complain per se but it's obvious that I am concerned as I still haven't received a shipping confirmation yet, don't have the device in my support profile and cannot find shipping from UPS through an account or reference number. They ensured me it's still delivering tomorrow and of course that's all they can say, but yeah then she just offered it.
Dang! Ordered my iPhone 6 Plus on the 11th. After no updates from Apple until today I learn that Bank of America put a hold on my card for "suspicious activity". This is the second time Bank of America has done this to me.
I've now cleared the hold with the bank. Hopefully this means things will start moving, but I doubt I'll get a new phone tomorrow because of this. Oh well...
