I just bought my first Mac ever today. I bought the 21.5" 2.7 GHz iMac. I'm super excited because I've always been a fan of Macs (learned my ABCs on one and used them in middle and high school) and I already have an iPhone and iPad, but also because this Mac is my reward for hitting my goal weight (lost 75 lbs in the past year).

Funny story though, at first I thought I would have to wait 2-3 weeks for it to be shipped as when I was looking online it said so. But I got a pleasant surprise when I walked into the store and they had them in stock.

Just clicked "Place Order Now" on a 27" 3.4 Ghz / 8GB / 1TB fusion / 680MX. Delivery date is March 25 - April 2. I don't care -- my current Mac is a 700Mhz iMac G4 running Tiger. I know what I've been missing.

Just over a week ago I ordered a 27" iMac (3.4GHz/8GB RAM/2GB 680MX/1 TB Fusion Drive). My initial ship date was April 3 - April 12 but as of last night it had changed to March 28 - April 3. I've been a Mac user for a long time but this is my first iMac - I can't wait! :)

Also, on another note. I just looked on the Apple Store and it's down. I wonder what they're doing...

ZOMG my imac late 2012 27" is so light !!

so light that when i went to clean it with the apple cloth, i had to hold it or it would slide away

Just received my iMac today, 3 days earlier than it was suppose to deliver and man this thing is gorgeous, I am actually not regretting not getting a 27" because this 21.5" seems bigger than I was expecting, also it wont dwarf anything else on my desk :p but this thing is beautiful from unwrapping to powering it on everything is well built just like every apple product. As far as the screen problems people been having, so far my screen seems perfect. *knocks on wood. Its very clear, crisp and bright. This is my first iMac and I am very impressed, worth the 2 week wait. Can't wait to have a day off work to really enjoy this piece of art.

ordered 21" model

I just ordered my base model 21" iMac (upgraded with 16gb ram) last friday.
i'm very curious about it :) I hope the message for me to pick it up at the store comes soon.

it's a big money investment for a "poor" college student. BUT I CAN'T WAIT!

Just order 2 days ago... 27inch iMac, i7 with 1TB fusion, and the mx680 2G. This is my first mac. I have an ipad, 2 ipods, and ipod touch, and have had 2 iPhones. I recently switched to the Note II for my phone, but I am coming to Apple for all my desktop needs.

The wait is killing me already :(

You will be wishing you had a iPhone when you get your iMac.

A few hours ago I ordered a refurbished 21.5" iMac 2.9/16GB/1TB FD. Hopefully its flawless when it arrives to my home.

Just picked up a 2011 27" iMac and love this thing. It's beautiful! Now to look into ordering a new gpu(6970m) and swapping the DVD-rom with a Ssd and ill be all set

Well I did it, I have been watching the refurb store for a while and finally a 21.5" i5 2.9 with a fusion drive showed up for $250 off and I snatched it up.

Upgrading from a 2010 MBP 15" 2.8 i7 which is a great computer, but I needed something bigger and more powerful to manage picture and video editing easier.

I must have grabbed the last one as I went back into the refurn store and there were none with the fusion drive left!!!!

I'm excited.

Ordered a 27" 3.2 i5 yesterday with the 680 graphics card and the 1TB fusion drive. I am already looking at expanding ram and adding an external Blu-Ray player for when it is delivered- sometime between March 22-26. I am really excited to use this, as my primary computer has been my old MacBook Pro from 2006. I must say, it served me quite well but is now going to go into the living room as part of the media center.

I'm a happy owner of a 13 inch base rMBP. I was looking for more screen space but have grown tired of waiting for a ATD refresh. I'm going to buy a base 21" iMac tomorrow. I'd love to get the 27" model but just can't justify spending that much on a second computer, especially when my work as an English professor doesn't really require a 27" screen. I just want to be able to put two documents or browser windows side by side.

This will be my first iMac since my old 17" iMac G5.

My 27", i7, 8gb ram, 680 mx, 3 TB fusion imac arrived today. Placed my order on Feb 16 took a little longer than 3 weeks from ordering to get it. So stoked!

Plus mine was assembled in the US. Nice to see something other than China on a product. Haha

Ok I just bought the refurbed 21.5 i5 got 20g ram in it and im super happy as this is my first mac.

With all the waiting times that have been discussed, I was very surprised yesterday to find out the local Apple store had the 27" BTO in stock. Picked up a 3.4Ghz i7, 680MX with 1TB Fusion. And my daughter was with me, so got it with a student discount. Love the Fusion drive! :D

Ordered today. Delivery estimate around March 28. Man my pockets are burning this month. I went SSD which added $480 to an already pricey order. I wish I could have thrown in the 3TB internal drive with that too for an extra $200 and had a super fusion.

Just ordered with my EPP Discount (-25%) Haven't been this stoked since the iPhone 1. :D:D:D

8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB
3TB Fusion Drive
