Well, the 6 runs acceptably, it's the 6+ which runs poorly by many accounts.

Me...I'll wait until the 6s before I get an iphone. (It will also replace my Ipod Nano as well. )

The "S" series is always a better product AFAIK, so that's what I buy as well. It gives everyone a chance to find out the weaknesses and Apple is pretty good about correcting most of them. However, if you NEED a phone RIGHT now and there is no S model to choose from, it's still a big improvement over a 4S.

I wouldn't have a 6+ personally, it's just to big for my liking.

Doesnt really bother me too much. Not denying that the issue exists, but is not that bad.

That's the key. Some folks hate it and others couldn't care less. I understand that. Just frustrating because I sooooooo wanted to buy one and give the Air to the wifey. Just couldn't get past that. Damnit. Wish they'd rectify that one issue. I'd be "in".

I have had a lot of great tech products over the years, but the iPad Air 2 is special. It's different. It's so much better than the rest. I think I am in love with it, I treat it like i would a little baby - with care and happiness. Is there something wrong with me...

I have owned most of the iPads and I have to agree with you. I have two now, one for the field and one stays at home. Great hardware for sure!

I agree that the iPad Air 2 is a fantastic device, but my iPhone 6 is its equal as far as great Apple products are concerned.
To my 4 year old grand daughter, it's a wonderful toy. To a musician, doctor, artist or scientist, it's a very capable tool that really does do incredible things!

It's certainly the device with the most amount of vibration in the chassis and screen. They got that right, for sure.

Just don't use the speakers and it's a doozy. All good.
This is not issue. I've had Air 2 for sometime for now and the vibrations doesn't bother me at all. I guess that I wouldn't even notice if if I didn't read this forum.

Has Apple silently fixed the screen distortion when holding the back? That's the first thing I noticed picking up a store demo the other day.

I could almost agree, since I love my iPad Air 2. It's absolutely brilliant for consumption. But I have to disagree. The best product Apple has ever made is without a doubt the 15" Macbook Pro retina. Especially the last one (mid 2015). I don't see how a laptop could get much better than that.

I have the 2012 version and I agree. The only way to improve is to keep the connectivity, screen, power, and battery life but lighten the load.

Of course it could get much better than that. A real video card instead of the crappy one you get is one of the things that could make it better.

I have to admit that I've never seen iOS run as well as it does on the air 2. I think with the specs on it iOS is finally running as it should. I'm almost hesitant to update to iOS 9 in the fall because iOS 8 runs so flawlessly on the air 2.
I am in love with Apples keyboard in iOS 9. The keys are in lower case unless you capitalize, then they are in upper case. I Love that. So I hope it does run as flawlessly. I don't have one but will have the new iPad Mini - which should have the same specs - and that device will come with 9.

I think the Ipad Air 2 is a great product but I dont think its a better overall consumer product than the iPhone 6+

It's an awesome device for sure. I hesitated to get it but so glad I pulled the trigger. No regrets at all and I'm on the Next plan with iphone 6 and will pick up the S later this year. Should be a stellar combo!!

The best Apple product ever made? To me is iPhone 6 Plus.

I think iPhone 6 Plus is the worst product Apple made. Underpowered and underspecced just like iPad 3. To top it off, the built quality was also questionable with several phones bending on applying slight pressure.

It will never have buttery smooth iOS experience.

With Air 2, I agree that it is an extremely powerful device. Slightly overpowered for this generation some might say. But it just falls short of greatness due to chassis vibration and sacrificed battery life.
