What is fact, is what can be backed up by receipts and statistics. Everything you've said so far is your subjective opinion that pertains to only your personal experiences and preferences. 90% of people may be able to use an iPad for their home or personal use....but 90% of professionals? I would be surprised if even 50% of professionals could use only an iPad for their work. Until you can show receipts, it is nothing more than an opinion.

You lack respect for other people's experiences and use cases. You totally dismiss what others have shared in their attempts to make iPad their only device. You totally dismiss their concerns and the shortcoming they have found in their own personal journey with the iPad, and even the business software they use on it. Apple made iWork as an option for people who just needed an easy to use alternative to MS Office. It was never going to be a replacement for the vast majority, and time has proven that. Even on Apple devices, over 80% of people still use MS Office.

I applaud you on all your academic accomplishments but you still fail at common sense, respect, good listening skills, and the ability to read the room you are in. People here have had supreme patience with you, but you still show disregard and disdain, and a huge lack of courtesy for other people's needs and experiences. Just give people the credit and courtesy to know their own needs, and it will be returned in kind. I am very glad that the iPad works so well for all your needs, but you sir….are the only one you can speak for.😉
Nope, complete fact. What many people do is simply keep doing what they always do despite whether it is optimized or not. This is fact and your subjective opinion will not change it.

Don't know why I expected mature, educated, or thought provoking conversation. Anyway, I got my morning chuckle. Thanks for that.

It is a fact as many other people have attested. Since you will ignore facts, we are done with this conversation.
I get that some people are genuinely productive with their iPads. But saying that 90% of people will be productive with one? That's more like your opinion than a fact. Maybe you could share a source or study that backs that up.

And I’m not ignoring your opinion, it's just that I don't agree with you.

So how do you save a file directly to the server say from safari; save file as //servername/foldername/ *.pdf?

Yes, I understand that you do not agree with me. 90% of people spend money to be less efficient and effective so that they can have the highest performing antique computer when an iPad would still allow them to be 100% efficient and effective. There are few tasks that are still designed to require antique computers and thus they are required for those few tasks until they are updated to use iPads.

Mount the folder from the server and then select the folder from there, the same way you would on Edge in Windows, or Safari on a Macintosh.

You still here, even though you said you was done with the conversation.

Regarding your comment, still an opinion, not a fact.

Mount the folder in Files? On the IPad long press on the pdf - the options are:
Open
Open in Background
Open in Tab Group
Download Link File (Doesn't give an option where)
Add to Reading List
Copy Link
Share (No Option)

This is also an opinion, not a fact. ;)
Either do the right thing and ignore him, or take it to a private message between you two children, and leave the rest of us out of it. No one wants to see this petty nonsense.

Or maybe I should just put you on ignore as well. Then I won't be able to see either one of you and your immaturish playground fight anymore.
