Wow. The hate and junior testosterone in this thread makes me want to throw up.

OP, it's ok not to like the new iPhone. Pay no mind to all the hate posts. Apple zombies have just been fed a new device and are in a frenzy. They'll simmer down in a few days.

You have 14 days to try it out, and if you don't like it, return it. Get a phone YOU like. Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

No way the 4.7" iPhone 6 is almost the same size as an iPad... not even an iPad Mini.

If it's so big then return it. Just be aware that someday soon it's quite likely that 4.7" will be the base size so I guess you are just going to have to quit using a cell phone.

Probably true. However, the phone/bezel will get smaller.

Here's a few pics . I have big hands and the plus feels big in my hands. I love the iphone 6 and how it feels in my hands.

I seriously don't get this "it's too big" complaint.

iPhone 6 is quite small phone. I have HTC One M8 currently and I can use it 100% comfortably one handed and in extreme situations it doesn't bother me to use both hands for few seconds.

No. I don't have big hands. I'm a short person and I guess I have smaller than average hands. And yes... HTC One M8 is even bigger than iPhone 6.

Stop complaining. Give it few days and you'll adjust to slightly larger form factor.

Afterall... benefits of larger screen are totally worth it even if it's not completely as comfortable to hold in hand as tiny mini phone like iPhone 5S.

To OP: Why don't you just return it and get the 5S? Why come to these message boards and complain about it? How does complaining here help you at all? This is a personal issue and opinion of yours. If you don't like it go return it. Also, your comparison of talking on the iPhone 6 similar to talking into an iPad...sorry you are very much reaching.

Done.

Here this should help you...

I think that's what I'm going to do. I got caught up in the iPhone 6 hype and bought into the size. When I actually got it in my hands, it overwhelmed me.

I can partially understand this but honestly you're going to have to learn to adapt eventually or be stuck with eventually an obsolete phone. Not saying that the 5S is a bad phone, you can still rock that for another year or maybe even 2. After that though, you'll be stuck.

Gee God forbid you have to use you phone with two hands

I've seen this a couple of times on here and I still don't get why someone would say it. Using a phone one handed is the way most of us have been ingrained, for decades, to operate it. While some may enjoy the benefits of the extra screen size, others might not have such a need and loss of one handed utility for them becomes a bigger source of frustration.

Personally, the iPhone 6 fits fine in my hand for one handed use....but it's stretching it at times. I would say my hand size is fairly moderate, so I can see how it would be an issue for someone with smaller hands.

The iPhone 6 is a bit taller than I expected, was surprised to see it in comparison to my old work provided Galaxy S2. But I don't think it is too big, I quite like it but after seeing the "bending" thread even though it is not a plus I do take it out of my front pocket before sitting.

Wish you were done before you decided to post...

If you feel this way, I would honestly just buy the 5s. Honestly we are starting to see a bit of a plateau in the generational improvements in mobile devices, so the 5s is still a fantastic device with a long lifespan ahead of it.

I would not be the least bit surprised if Apple offers 4", 4.7", and 5.5" devices in the future. The 4" may not be top of the line, but I suspect it will remain competitive.

My plus seemed huge when I first got it. After a few days, it's the new normal. Give it a week. If you still hate it, return it.

I love my 6, I don't understand how you can not be happy with it. You can still operate it with one hand, the screen is nicer and it has a better form factor.
