How long until you recover? You went from a smaller phone to a larger phone. What were you expecting? Seriously. I'm too embarrassed to even look up the weight difference and post it here for you.:rolleyes:We're talking ounces,right?
As opposed to pounds? An ounce is a big deal in a phone -- 20%.

Wait until you pick up someones 5 or 4...
I personally think the 6s is significantly more heavy than the 6. I didn't even have a case on it and knew it. I also think in a day or two I will not even notice so it's not a complaint. I do not like the weight but it's not a deal breaker since it is only slightly heavier. I think the biggest thing about the weight is the balance used with 1 hand and reaching the top of the screen.

Again, not a deal breaker, just noticeable.

I can't seem to find anything on a problem I'm having with my 6s though...when the phone is sleeping (or I don't use it for about 5-10 minutes), it hangs for about 10 seconds to unlock or start the app I click on (whether it's messages, email, Safari...). Not to hijack the thread, just curious if anyone else has noticed this.

There are several other threads about this same issue. It seems to effect all 6S models.

Noticeably heavier than my 6 but not a big deal. I like it. Feels like I'm getting my money's worth.:)

6 --> 6S+

Instantly noticed the weight difference. While i like how lite the 6 was, i like how sturdy the 6s+ feels.

6 feels tiny to me already. Ill decide tomorrow how much i like the size of the + once i try carrying around.

With as much talk as there was about weight, I expected to notice more (I went from a 6 plus to 6s plus), but I really couldn't tell the difference. Held one phone in one hand and the other in the other and I suppose if I focused on it I could feel the s was heavier, but on a day to day, I wouldn't notice. Hell, if you just handed me the s plus and asked me to tell you which model it was without unlocking or looking in the back I probably couldn't tell you with more Han a 50% degree of certainty.

OMG of course you did-it's a BIGGER PHONE!

I went from a 6 to a 6S+ and the weight is making me think twice about keeping it. I think its a combination of the size and the weight. I was in a store this morning and picked up a 6+ and its significantly lighter. Im finding its almost ruining my experience with it. It just feels a bit annoying to be honest.

I went from a 6 plus to a 6s plus and the weight difference is barely noticeable. No problem for me, but then again I don't suffer from brittle bone syndrome.

To be fair i had an apple silicone case on mine which i feel was making it worse, going to exchange it for a leather one. Just took the case off and it feels a lot nicer.

Aunt Marietta is not impressed with your complaints. image.jpg

I set up a 6S plus for my dad yesterday. I got the 6 plus (waiting on my 6S plus preorder). I felt no difference at all. Of course going from an older smaller phone you'll see it. But it's pretty much the same as last years model.
