Like many here, anxious to hear how the ATT sign-up goes if you're not in Wifi land. I'm at work and would like to activate that to be able to show it to somebody here. Oh well, I'm sure somebody will be posting about that very soon!

For those that have it and owned a WiFi model, can you navigate to a picture intensive page that wouldn't load fully on the WiFi model due to lack of RAM. I'm curious to see if they added any RAM. Long shot, I know.

Thanks, I've been there already, but one could read that phrase as referred to international iPads, not US. BTW, the fact that's on US Apple website should suffice...

As a matter of fact, since I'd buy two of them, for a considerable amount of money, I'd rather see first-hand smoking gun, since returning the product would be a bit difficult... 😉

For the user that's gonna come over here on July: I'm in contact with some guy in H3G carrier ("3 Italia", that is), which assured me they're gonna have some sort of iPad-centric offer by the end of May. It should be PAYG, by all means. You could safely ditch AT&T international data plan, if your iPad supports other carrier's micro-SIMs.

I'm posting from my WiFi iPad while my 3G syncs. Much to my delight my WiFi iPad seems just as capable as ever, even with the 3G iPad in the same room! Who knew?

What is the max. file size for downloads over 3G?

Is there a 20MB cap as there is with the iPhone?

Hmm, I activated over WiFi and it took less than a minute to verify.

9 Hours is the official line from Apple, compared to the 10 hours for wifi only.

And to clarify, that's 9 hours of 3G usage. If you shut off 3G and use it over wifi, it would get the same matter life as the wifi only iPad.

Mine's now showing as on vehicle for delivery. I'm now waiting for the glass guy to come replace the windshield in my car, so I will probably head over after that and run some errands, and hopefully it'll be here by then. I may even run down to the Apple Store to see if they have any camera kits.

Make sure you are home unless you completed the signature requirement waiver. However, I would be home anyway just to ensure getting it right when it arrives.

Can the 3G be turned off, like on the iPhone? To save battery life.

Mine did the same, but I think it was just a ghost. When the sync was completed (and the notification still there), I swiped to open, and it went away.
