Thought I'd' drop by and contribute a little positivity in what often can be a negative place. I've been working hard on a video project for a couple days. During that time, I've had premiere pro, aftereffects, garageband, as well as affinity designer running at the same time. My computer never slowed down and powered right on through(2018 13" 2.3Ghz Quad-Core w/ Touchbar). By no means was it a professional workload and I wasn't working with insane animations or 4k video. I'm just really happy with my macbook pro right now, and thankful that I have the means to have a nice computer. That's all folks. Just a little Apple cheer for you!

For a £1799 computer, it should be able to perform a little heavy lifting.
