Well, I've been case comparing, and that involved breaking in excel on my new MacBook :))), so I have a chart comparing eight different sleeves. I was looking for something light to throw into a backpack that is already shipping, so that's what this list includes.

Attatched, since I have no idea how to format a table here.

Any advice would be very welcome!

Yesterday I was at the all with my sister and I stopped by the Apple store to look at the bags and sleeves. I only had $40 on me at the time so I got a $30 sleeve that was originally meant for a 15" Macbook Pro or a 14" iBook. It fits the MacBook quite well with a little room for some cables if I don't want to put the sleeve in a bag.

In the future I plan to get 2GBs or RAM, maybe a Bluetooth mouse for on the go in place of my wireless mouse, and maybe another external hard drive.

Laptop Riser/Dock

Can anyone recommend a good laptop riser or docking station? I want to put my 12 inch macbook on a stand that will let me use it with a second monitor and a keyboard and mouse.

I ordered all my accessories from Radtech and I went through two sleeves: the rebound and the glove. I got the rebound first and found it totally NOT form fitting to the 13" MB. It had lots of loose space and I just wasn't cool with that. I returned it for the Glove which is form fitting but its material (neoprene) wasn't as good as the material that the rebound was made out of (idk). I also got the Radtech Screen Savrz and that was some good stuff.
I also got a BT mouse, the silver Logitech V270 and thats good stuff too.

Actually....

I was fed up with trying to find a unique sleeve for my macbook, so I took an old Quicksilver sweatshirt and made a sleeve out of it. I used the main chest area for the front, and the bottom of the front, the part with the big pocket for the back...so there is a pocket to put pencils, or pens, or the adapter...It's pretty sweet...and everyone that has seen it loves it...you should make your own! You can also stick some patches on it either sewing them, or iron-ons and make it even more you...

Shaggymac and screen clearance

Hi all,
First time poster, long time lurker here. I like many folks here just purchased a new MBP. I am enjoying it very much and would like to do a few things to protect it. I picked up a Incase canvas sleeve (pretty slick), and am thinking about the Shaggymac screen protector. One question I have is, does the thickness of the protector affect the hinges on the MBP. I notice more clearance at the front of the MBP, but almost none at the back (toward the hinges). Any insight would help. Thanks.

Bluetooth Mouse

Hey,

Does anyone know of a good small bluetooth mouse?
I just got a macbook and am looking for a portable mouse to go along with it.

thanks

I have a black waterproof canvas sleeve from Wrappers and I love it. It weighs nothing, looks cool, fits my 13.3" Macbook beautifully, is slightly padded, and the inside is microfiber so there's no scratching, and the Macbook comes out of the sleeve looking shiny and new.

I sound like I work for them. Either way, they're awesome.

http://www.aussiebag.com/ - I have an aussie bag for my MB and MBP, I love them.

iKlear - great for cleaning screen and casing of smudges and fingerprints

Griffin Elevator - reduces neck strain while using MBP on desk
