Me too! I transfer out Johnny Evans because it said he only had a 50% chance of playing. Not only did he play, he scored! I also forgot to transfer back in Defoe, who bagged a couple, so none of my strikers scored :(

I've finally had a couple solid weeks at the helm. The board has made it clear that the squad needs to shape up, and the lads have pulled through for me.

Bout time fortunes change for LITH Utd. Still thinking of scrapping the team at new year and starting fresh if their morale and play doesn't improve

Nice week! I'm thinking of making some bold changes in December that I'll be able to fix in January, myself. The status quo isn't gonna cut my deficit enough.

BPs have yet TBA but I think I gotcha, twietee.

Is that so? I haven't checked at all, thought I could win this thing without any effort. Left even Fellaini on the bench as second sub....yay?

Rematch will be the real thing then.

imma put in a shout for pachyderm fc. we've tremendous strides from the bottom of the league to the top 5... surely there is a kit in that...? no?
;)
Granted, Pachyderm FC have been on an unstoppable charge like... like... sorry, I'm trying to think of a large, formidable animal that would be hard to stop once it got on a charge but one isn't springing to mind.

The Stoplights face a big battle this week in the Cup with Neutron Heath. Second place is potentially on the line (looking at you Thigh High Socks)! I've shaken things up after the Bale injury and will put my new acquisitions to the test. More transactions in the works with the January transfer window looming.

hmmm, very interesting. My injury list goes through the roof!

Being such a good manager, I laid hands on quality players like Bale and Suarez long before the bandwagon started....which brings me to the only disadvantage of this game: selling price is much too low now as if I could justify transactions - considering a buy-back clause later on of course.

Jumped on the Michu / Ba train just in time, though. Saved my *** against Elisbury Hill. :p

Still lost against the Stoplights.

Yeah, I've had Suarez since the start of the season. problem is transferring him out, is I only get 10m and it's 10.5m to buy him back

Bale I dropped a while back, and since then he's found a bit of form, just like Ba

Yeah, it's tough to build value into a guy like a Bale or Cazorla or Tevez. Even if you want to drop them for a few weeks, it becomes so cost prohibitive that you end up keeping them. This week with Bale, I figured he'd prolly be out a couple weeks and then may take some time to return to form. I raised my value of him to 9.6 so I'm hoping in weeks others will drop him and the value will decrease by .2 to 9.7 in January so I can buy him back if he's ok without losing a bunch.

Now I'm buying guy's like Felani and Defoe at inflated values but feel like I have to stay competitive or risk losing major ground to the field. It's so hard to judge which bandwagon to hop on, especially cause I don't get to watch much.

Haha! That's the best part. Me too, haven't seen even one of Fellaini's goals. And he scored plenty for me.
And is that Begovic guy really that good? Got him from start because he was the cheapest.

He's good, but Stoke play a physical game and don't ship many goals, especially at home. Or at least they didn't, I've probably just cursed them :p

Ahem...

RVP has not been on my team all season. He has been a Fightin' Shroom the last 4 years. When he left the Arsenal on my birthday this year, he left my Shrooms as well.

I currently sit in 5th place in the League. Looks as though the majority of the top 10 teams have RVP.

I'm just sayin' (bragging). :p
