stay the course!!!

i was looking at your team and you've got some point producers... it was just a slow week (thankfully) for them.

i'm in the same boat. my guys didn't do diddly. michu seems to have gone missing, hazard hasn't been the same since the international break, where in the world is charlie adam from his blackpool days???

I know the guys are solid, they've just had a bad few weeks. I keep chasing the points instead of predicting who's gonna step up. The Stoplights will be OK eventually. Still have the WC and I'm happy about that. I just hope Management honors the four year contract I signed and don't boot me mid-season. I've got a family to support, ya know.

Apologies for the delayed update, everyone – the Premier League site has been rechecking the points this week for some reason, and our scores were only confirmed earlier today. Here then are how things ended up this week...

Tall Saints 51 - 33 Sporting Dual-Cores
Hardly Athletic 30 - 47 Neutron Heath
Pinstripe City 35 - 48 Pachyderm FC
Brainerd FC 27 - 60 T!llionaire Toyshire
Argy-Bargy 38 - 27 The Stoplights
LITH United 50 - 47 Elisbury Hill
Mancunian Mopheads 49 - 30 Horizon Heights
Thigh High Socks 52 - 54 Woodingtonhampshire
Fizzy's Flyers 53 - 24 Omaha Latics

Amongst the notable results were the Tall Saints extending their 100% record with a convincing win over my own Sporting Dual-Cores, whilst Pachyderm FC made club history win three consecutive victories. ;)

That leaves the table looking like this...

CupTable1213_gw6.png

...and here's the fixtures for the upcoming Gameweek 7.

Sporting Dual-Cores v Brainerd FC
T!llionaire Toyshire v Pinstripe City
Pachyderm FC v Hardly Athletic
Neutron Heath v Fizzy's Flyers
Omaha Latics v Thigh High Socks
Woodingtonhampshire v Mancunian Mopheads
Horizon Heights v LITH United
Elisbury Hill v Argy-Bargy
The Stoplights v Tall Saints

So that's the Cup – but what about our main League competition?

As we can see, top spot is currently shared by two teams – T!llionaire Toyshire and Elisbury Hill – who can't be separated on 341 points apiece.

However, despite their loft positions neither has claimed September's MacRumors Manager of the Month award. That honour goes to Fightin' Shrooms gaffer pjlander, whose astute management has led his charges to an unrivalled 223 points for the month. I believe pjlander has been in Englandshire lately, clearly he's been using his time here to scout out some promising players for his side. ;)

So well done to pjlander and our two table toppers, twietee and Roger1989. :)

It's been a good start for the Mopheads this season. Most likely our best yet, probably due to the brand spanking new name we're using. Well done to the notable teams of last month, but this month is the one for me. I'm determined to win manager of the month this time around... I'm not about at the weekend so have updated my team tonight.

Bring on the football!

My Shrooms!

Yes Commish, I HAVE been in the motherland visiting for a family wedding. Beautiful England! While visiting family, I also did do some top notch scouting as you have mentioned. Studied some of the players on the tele and live as well (saw Chelsea v Wolves Cup game at the Bridge). Side note - I'm an Arsenal fan. But as I have seen them multiple times, the wife wanted to see Torres in person this trip. So I gave in. And he scored a header from the corner kick. Happy wife, happy life.

My Shrooms have been playing some fabulous footy lately, and I don't see them letting off the gas anytime soon. They have their eye on the top spot. I'm expecting some more goals and clean sheets from my boys this weekend. Be scared, be very scared.

C'mon you Shrooms!

:)

And as always, thanks Jaffa Cake for your fantastic work with managing our league! ;)

 I'm shakin', I'm so very shakin' now...my head. TzTzTz..

Sad thing is, that from now on everything less than perfect will feel like a huge dissapointment for the t!llionaire's toys4hire...and it's lavish billionaire owner.

And as always, thanks Jaffa Cake for your fantastic work with managing our league! ;)

+1!

Thinking of even putting this into my signature...btw, really loving it how Elisbury Hill is put in his place :D

And Moyank, I'm afraid you don't read this, but you'll get your *** kicked big time this GW.

Decided to take a few risks this week!!

Either it's gonna work out and be really, really good, OR really, really bad.

:)

And that on my own sacred grounds! Shame on you Pachy! I thought I knew you better sir.

By the way, is this thread going to be wastelanded after we finished this forgettable and tedious season?! I surely do hope so.

ah, my moves didn't pan out... nothing from Suarez! I thought he could have at least mustered up a goal or two, but alas...

nice job Jaffa Cake! :)
