To be honest, I’ve been using the SKF for so long, it feels normal to me. With that being said, I don’t sit in front of my iPad and MK and type away for long periods of time.

I don’t find the MK on the 11pro cramped at all. Probably the only button I wish was bigger is the return key, but muscle memory is slowly adapting.

I also recently sold my smart keyboard folio after settling on the MK (used it for 7 months). SKF was good, but the rigid angles (really only one usable fixed angle for me) and the lack of a trackpad made my prefer the MK. The keys also are a joy to type on on the MK where as with the SKF it was merely adequate.

Is there palm rejection in iPad Magic Keyboard? Does it work as well as in Macbook Pro?

It doesn’t have any palm rejection as far as I can tell. Its not an issue for me personally as its small in size and I rarely if ever find my palm touching it while typing.

As far as how it compares to Macbook, I can’t say for sure as I don’t have one. But concensus is that, yes, its just as good, but much smaller in size and takes a week or two to adjust.

OK, thanks for confirming that. I guess it is the same with LCT, too and that my way of typing with this is a bit different than with MBP. Anyway, I must say LCT trackpad does not work quite as fluid or reliable as my MBP, but could be I can get use to it.

Anyone seeing trackpad going crazy or stop working randomly with iPad Magic Keyboard? Especially after installing OS 14.01 version.

Just received my AMK for the 12.9 and love it, the keyboard is brilliant, better than the original keyboard folio I have.

Had mine still launch and still awesome to type on. Really hope future iPad keeps this keyboard to work on future models.

I still love mine too. And I use the iPad both with and without the keyboard so that easy snap on snap off is really great.

Couldn’t imagine doing real work without it, but the durability seems to be questioned.

On my MKB, the area where the palms rest already showing some very tiny holes.
I’m guessing it’s there because of dust and grits that being trapped in between the MKB and the iPad‘s screen.
Color also has been shifted significantly, this thing is dust magnet.

If you rub the surface on certain areas, you might find a slight bump also, where all surface should’ve been perfectly flat. And the corner tips might also be uneven.
Many users complained about this.
QC doesn’t seems to be perfectly inspected.

I have both sizes. Had them from the start. It’s been a cliche about an IPad ‘replacing a laptop’ And now iPads are laptops! :D

Hard to tell them apart. I use them more now, btw. Much more. Which size is better? no answer to that. I‘m typing on the 12.9” now, and it’s a laptop, but the dimensions are strange, as you know. Different.

I bought one for my 12.9" Pro today. I'm not sure if it changes everything or if I'll even keep it. I think the iPad hangs just a bit too low over the top row of keys and my fingers hit the iPad sometimes. I was just thinking of not keeping it attached all the time because I don't do a lot of typing. It's well made but hard to open unless you place it down on the hinge.

Is it worth $350? I really don't know yet. I bought a Apple smart cover two weeks ago when I bought the iPad and I plan on keeping that on my iPad most of the time.

The MKB won't ever stop me from using my 2016 MBP most of the time. I don't do any work on either one.
