I wouldn't say that. You could give the mother of all flip offs...more easily hail a cab or quickly get a waiter's attention...as well as slew of dirty minded things.
Joking aside, you do have to feel bad for anyone who has to deal with deformaties like this. I assuming that if they did the surgery when he was younger, it wouldn't have helped. They absolutely had to wait until it stopped growing?
They probably couldn't remove more. There are so many nerves and blood vessels in the face that a small mistake could paralyze part of his face (making eating difficult, maybe) or cause him to bleed profusely. Maybe there was bone structure to worry about too. I'm sure there was a reason.
That was a very startling thing to see. The poor guy!
