Exactly! im wanting proof myself! 😀😀 i would be very interested indeed, but i would like to bet that more women & kids use ipad minis compared to men. thats all, a harmless bet 😀 im not calling out my assumption that apple put it out JUST for kids and women but, such a device attracts more of them than men, i would be very happy to be proved wrong 🙂
Now that I think about it, I'm going to retract my statement about the iPad mini being the weakest offering.
The real weakest offering is the Apple TV.
I think the iPad mini is Apple's weakest offering. It doesn't live up to the iPad standard because it doesn't have a retina display. It's not as powerful as an iPhone because it isn't small enough.
There's not enough packed into it that makes it a desirable product. It's like most tablets that are release where it's a generation behind from the moment that it's released.
It's on the iPod touch standard now. It's there, but it's just not a flagship product. If you compare it to the Galaxy Note, it's not even as good because it has no calling capabilities.

bonskovsky said:Nonsense. Apples strongest product is their MacBook©. Don't be so naïve.
Did you really... just... say that...
You don't deserve a single reply to this thread.
More ignorance. iPhone is Apple's best selling product. As "strong" as a MacBook is, it doesn't define Apple. You should really just not post anymore.
...You never put last year's specs into a new device. Never.

Ummmm, you do. Its called the Mini and you sell MILLIONS of them. I think Apple figured this out better than you did.![]()
...Without any real innovations the "old boy" success that Apple has is eventually going to peeter out.

I could tell you what compelled me to buy every Apple product I own. But as for the mini, there was nothing that compelled me to buy it. If the iPad mini is not their weakest offering, what is?
I looked at it for about 5 seconds.
And you wonder why the press is running "tired Apple" stories and their stock is plummeting.
You can't go into an Apple store nowadays and leave the store feeling like you've witnessed something fresh. I've said it before and I'm going to say it again.

Well I'm not going to the next Apple keynote.
I did mess up when I said that.. let me clarify:
The iPhone is MORE powerful than the mini, even though the iPhone is SMALLER.
You see what I just did there?
The iPhone has A6, retina, and a long battery life.
The mini on the other hand...has last years specs. That's why I don't like the mini.
iPhone 5 is apple's top end iOS device (iPad 4 with cellular being close). It's the brand's premium - and most expensive - product. Think about how new features trickle down in car brands, such as from the BMW 7 series, to the 5 series, and finally to the 3.
The mini cannot have all of the specs of apple's top-of-the-line device, be priced where it is, and have an acceptable (from apple's perspective) profit margin.
Lower tier products (within a company's hierarchy of premium-ness) do not get everything the flagship models get. I really don't see what about this is so hard to understand.
Oh, so the mini wasn't supposed to be a flagship device? Just a low tier device.
Oh, okay. That's easy to understand.
Understood.
BMW also makes a 1 series, I drive one...probably the best of the bunch with power to weight ratio and overall handling and sportiness...

You do realize that Apple just made over $13 billion (that's with a b) in about 3 months. It was the 4th best quarter that any company has ever had. They made more money in 3 months than most companies make in 5 years, 10 years even. I'm pretty sure they don't need "old boy success", $13 billion is enough.![]()
Did you really feel the need to put an Apple logo at the end of your response? _
