A friend of mine had the same issue. He created the playlists on his phone but they did not show up on iTunes. Either a bug or something that needs to be fixed sooner rather than later.

My issue is a little different: iTunes playlists don't show up on my iPhone.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I think I need a little help here. So, I've created the smart playlist in iTunes. But it doesn't show up on my iPhone. What do I do?
My point being, if a playlist you create on a phone does not show up on iTunes, I would reason to believe if you create one on iTunes it won't show up on your phone either. I am also assuming you're doing this via the "cloud" and thinking it sync's automatically. Correct?
