Any post with "OMG" or "Should I buy now or wait?".

I must simply pass on by and never open/click on.

"xyz on craigslist... is it a scam or not?"

That is the most annoying one ever! It always is if they need to post about it!

Maybe its just me, but the "what to buy girlfriend for event X" threads really annoy me too. If you don't know, how are people who've never met that person ever going to tell you!

Just got another all-to-common thread around May/June sort of time...

"Here is a confirmed image of the new ____ to be released at _____"

And then the thread contains an incredibly unbelievable mock up. Very popular recently with the new Mac Mini and a new iPhone nano.

It's amazing how many of these questions can be answered oneself just by injecting a little common sense into it...

I love it when someone posts a question even though they've got their mind already made up, and then keep arguing their own decision anyway. And genuine n00b questions are one thing - even if they can be answering by using the search box - but for heavens' sake do a bit of digging before you post it...

I remember once, I think I got proper angry at someone who did that, it became so obvious they were just after attention, and had no intention of making their mind up, I think the thread was watelanded within a day...

I see these so much...

"I bought *insert apple product here*, but now I want the new one. If I purposely break it, will AppleCare give me the new one!!?!!?!?!?!1?"

If they want it so bad, why dont they just buy it?

It amazes me that people dont know what fraud is. :/

"Can I you guys answer just a quick question about something I need to know about LOL"

I like my thread titles long, yet vague.

I think I know the thread you're referring to.. There was a major one just a few weeks ago wasn't there?

"Will Apple Replace My [Insert Apple Product here]?"
"My iPod touch (or iPhone) won't boot! Help?!"
"Should I install XP or Vista on boot camp?"
"Which external hard drive should I buy?"
"Should I buy now or wait for an upgrade?"

EDIT: "Link?" <--- most common in the [Insert month here] Desktops thread.

See:

I've got another one: "Link?" (wallpapers thread... in this case, it's actually putting the onus on the person failing to post the link in the first place, but stil...)

Which leads me too (which has been said already), people who don't read threads and post the same response, I can understand if it's 10 pages +, but it's 3.... I know it's not related to questions, but it still bugs me :p

Really? I looked through the thread, but I guess I missed it. Edit deleted.

This one is a little old school: PowerBook G5 this Tuesday!!!

And I see this from time to time: how do you maximize a window to fill the entire screen?

I was trying to make a point... :D

"Does anyone know when Apple will update :insert product here: that was just updated yesterday?"

where is the xMac?

why can't apple come up with a medium sized tower computer with:
3x quadcore CPU
3x graphics cards
3x HDD bays
3x Blueray drive
3x RAM slots
3x DVI out

the Apple xMac 666 (or 333333) whatever...
