I hope we get a printer/scanner/faxer in the next refresh. Maybe an ethernet connection. OR EVEN BETTER, a kingston lock slot!!! Who knows!

Hi,
My name is Chris. I'm from 2009. Here nobody listens to radio.
Goodbye

Hi Chris, I'm from the future of an arbitrary amount of time, where we've cloned many of you to be slaves for the entire human race.

Thanks to you, there's world peace.

You're awesome, Chris!

All hail Chris! But mostly me.

I use my radio every day folks, local music, news and pride!

I'm not low tech, I care for media from my area....

97.7 the river northbay rocks!!!

I think ooTunes cost $2 and streams a bazillion radio stations. Why waste the parts and space on an FM tuner? Add to this that Sirius XM has an app and WHY WOULD YOU NEED AN FM TUNER?

the only time i want FM/AM is in my car, and i have it without using my phone.

However, my old LG phone had an FM Transmitter in it, now that was cool! i could use my Phone over any FM radio, both for music and calls! I would have liked to see that added in the new iPhone (provided it could have maintained good quality and no increase in form-factor)

That's hilarious. Everyone knows that the biggest omission is that it doesn't play 8-tracks.

FM radio. Priceless.
Oh come on, you know you want to spin some vinyl on your iPhone. :D

96.7 Bob FM is where it's at. :p

That said, I had a Sony Eriscsson with FM capabilities and I used it maybe once, despite it working pretty well. When the iPhone is already an iPod, and with Pandora and the like with pretty decent quality over 3G, why listen to the radio at all?

And heavy! :(

I hated to lug one of those around to take video.

Very heavy...I wish they still built stuff like that though (ok, may not so heavy LOL)...My Sony dual layer DVD recorder feels like an empty box...just so cheap...
I have an older GX-7 which was one of the first Sony DVD recorders (built in Japan) and that thing is as solid as my original BetaMax...very very well built...then they started putting out these cheap looking, super light recorders (made in S. Korea IIRC)...

lack of FM Radio/Tuner.
It would cost maybe $2 to add into the Iphone 3GS.

Inexcusable, hardly. The only time, I'd listen to radio is while I'm driving. I see no need to have a radio built into my iPhone (or iPod) and based on the people responding to this thread, that also seems to be the consensus
