:D

My god you must have 20 mb png files loaded on that thing. It takes forever to load, even on a 4500 mb down connection. You really have to work on the graphics...that's the problem with iWeb (converting everything to huge ass png files = takes forever to load)

Ok I just re-did mine! it has flash pages in there now which i used a program called iphoto export, as i know nothing about flash or html coding!

I went to your site and won a free Xbox 360 and then a Canon PowerShot! :p

Yeah, and it looks like it was done with iWeb.

Yup ive just started mine.

All the iweb sites have navigation menus at the top that you can tell a mile off are iweb. Ive tryed to stay away from that.

Here it is : boardaddict.com

Atleast i think ive tryed to make it look different.

I really like how you integrated the postcard viewer, simpleviewer (flashbased?) and the map - of course along with different look to the rest. I was wondering how 'easy' it is to update the information in iweb. Are you having to go through and restructure each page (or cut & paste) everytime?

I just spent half the day cooking up a new portfolio website. It's my first try with iWeb (and web development at all, for that matter), so be nice;) .

Let me know what improvements it could use... constructive criticism welcome!

You have some amazing shots!
Very nice, easy to navigate site, and the work is just outstanding.

So, if I were to be in the market for a typical "My life" type of website (with some mp3's of cover songs, blog, etc), where should I look to for free hosting? (Preferably something that plays nice with iWeb)

Looks nice, but I'd use a uniform font throughout. The bold first letter in your name at the top is distracting (the first thing I noticed was that the letters B J were bold). Maybe the text at the bottom should be uniform as well.

Yeah, I was playing around with font to make it a little more interesting... I don't like those bold letters either. But i'm keeping "weblog." bold, as I want it to catch your eye more than just another nav link at the bottom. Thanks for the input.

Postcard viewer and simpleviewer in my site are made with a free program called iphotoexport. You just select the photos you want and then it does the rest for you. I then just upload the page to my .mac account and make links to those pages in i web. Pretty easy!

I find the photos are much easier to look at this way and they load much faster than using the iweb photo pages and slide shows.

iWeb Fixed Left Border Between Webpage & Browser

Hi Daz (boardaddict.com) or anyone

I notice in your site you appear to have been able to reduce the space between the left border of the webpage and the left border of the browser window. I have been unable to do this and it is very frustrating. When I alter the width of the webpage only the right hand side moves in and out.

Any tips on how you managed to do this?

Regards

BM

Looks really good. Clean and simple layout, doesn't look like it was done on iWeb, and your images are the showcase. Good job. And great work in your galleries as well.

I really love iWeb. I just redesigned my site. Everything was created using iWeb, iWeb Enhancer, Seashore, Lineform, and lightbox.

Lightbox is really great, click any of the screenshots to see it in action. It was really easy to setup too!.

Hey there..very visually appealing sitea...I have a few questions about your site. Since you did not use a .mac account how did you make your podcast/blog work so well? subscribe button etc. Also how did you add forms to your site.

Thank you for your time
