I agree! Modern Marvels on the History Channel is so much more interesting than that crap!
Basically equivalent. Heard using the AC was effective now such that you could use it all the time, fast or slow. And I think it was the same on the show.
Don't use it during a heatwave though. Don't want your car to die on a hot summer day.

she's smart, talented, and a pretty good artist in her own right. And she's a stone fox. I think she's awesome.
Let's face it, it's television. Being an attractive person is part of the gig. I like Travel Channel poster girl Samantha Brown quite a lot, not only because I really enjoy Passport To Europe, but also because she's a little cutie pie. That's probably a little shallow, but...eh. I'm at an age where I like what I like and don't really care why

I was just thinking about this thread today. I wonder how much their ratings have gone up since Kari came on the show?
She's been there since almost the beginning. Usually in the background though. She is in episode 2 season 1.
Ok, I didn't realize that. It seemed that Adam and Jamie were the primary focus early in the shows' production, and the other staff have been introduced slowly.
I really love this show, but the only thing that ticks me off is all of the dang repeat episodes discovery airs. It seems that everytime i turn on discovery and Mythbusters is on, its one ive already seen

we voted for her because..just look at her..she is a beautiful woman... damn near made me cream my jeans the first time i saw her
but good show.. i like the episode where they test to see if you are in a falling elevator and you jump on the moment of impact so your feet arent on the floor will you be oaky... i wodnered that before that episode... too...bad wording though..sorry people..
yah you are right. I noticed this today that when they are filming in the shop, if you look carefully in the background you can sometimes see other projects/experiments they are working on that havnt aired yet (and then you see the episode where they tell you what it is and you tell yourself, "hey i saw that like last month, awesome")
I was surprised by the one where they test the trucks to see which one goes farther on one tank of gas. One with the tailgate up, one with the tailgate down.
I can't believe tailgate down won.

Agree that was one of the best! I used to have the hots for Kari, now she's getting annoying to me
same here. while i don't usually watch the tube, i tend to avoid mythbusters. it is kinda interesting at times. but most of the time i'd end up being really frustrated with their way of conducting "scientific experiments." and if i wanted the drama, i'd watch drama.
please don't hate me.
I voted for Adam, the show wouldn't be the same without him. I love this show there are so many cool experiments I don't even know what would be the best.
Maybe the one where they raced a toy car down a slope vs a real one... or trying to pole vault a car using the drive shaft... or when they built a rocket out of stuff that you could easily buy... or when they tried destroying a car engine by putting a sorts of fun stuff in it... or anything that involved buster losing a limb, lol. Okay maybe I watch too much of it.

This show, Planet Earth, Stunt Junkies, and the occassional Ted Koppel special are really the only good things on the discovery channel anymore.
