That's what it is. And it was so much more functional.

ohok, i thought you were saying thats how yours looks like now. i get it.

well i had the honor (if you call it that) of joining facebook in spring of 2005. It was great back then. I think it really went down here when they opened it up to non-college people. it lost its club-like feeling.

It has declined severely. I only use it for occasional status updates and photos these days.

Just got the new homepage - as usual, it's different and overwhelming, but no doubt I'll get used to it just as I have with the other changes, so no use whining about it.

I've just got it myself, and it does seem like an improvement over the last version - at least you can view events.

I don't like it, not that I use FB much. Just once in a while to see what's happening and to make an occasional post.

What happened to the 'Friends' tab at the top? Can you only access friends by using the box at the side now or am I missing something?

"Live NewsFeed" is gone, replaced by Most Recent. Live actually meant More, which didn't make sense.

Its been doing that a while for me, even the old one would default to Most Recent news (or just News?). I always had to click on Live to get the full feed. I wish they would give us an option for the default feed. I'd also like it if the new notifications were a bit more obvious. I've loaded up FB a couple of times since the update and the notices never stood out.
