"iMessages display out of order"? Bet that would of been fun.

Glad for the out of order imessages fix. That happened to me occasionally. But the issue that’s been plaguing me every day is the horrible autocorrect.

Does it fix the really bad looking bold system font for the 2018 “poor man’s ipad”? Ewww. Set one up yesterday for a little old lady and it was really distracting. Our ipad air 2 and ipad pro 12.9s do not have the system bold.

Does anyone know if USB Restricted Mode is in this release? (It was in the betas), and if so how to enable it?

7 or so iOS versions later and they still have not fixed this super annoying bug in iMessage where you delete a bunch of attached images at once. Go back inside and some of those pics you just deleted are still present which means you have to do the same thing all over multiple times. It even happens on the Mac

Also give me a freaking delete all button

It is also stupid that attached images do not sync with iCloud Message ... it’s what i was looking for, like why can I not delete images on Messages and they r gone on each device? Nope in fact they added another step. Now I have to load the images from the cloud to my device first before I can delete them, why not let me delete them straight from the cloud like iCloud Photos??? Stupid

I'm guessing you are deleting the attachments through the Messages app. Have you tried deleting the attachments through iPhone Storage in Settings (Settings -> General -> iPhone Storage -> Review Large Attachments)? I'm not sure if it will work any better, but might be worth a try. I have a feeling this method probably won't sync with iCloud either, but looks like a quicker/easier way to delete attachments.

I tried that but this never matches like I delete every single picture from iPhone storage but the messages itself still have images. It’s strange

Yeah. Very strange to me that we didn't get a point update for MacOS that at least added this feature only.

In the new Apple, that will take another 12 months. There is only so much Apple can do, when its creating such incredible products, with long standing bugs, and irritations. You should get it just before WWDC 2019.

Why do I not have the imessage in the cloud on my mac? It's now on apple's support page?

And not a peep on what the iPhone 7 and 7plus microphone hardware issue that just happened to happen to phones after they received iOS 11.3, and if it's been fixed with 11.4...

Based on the description of the issue in the article about it, it seems like there might not be a software update type of fix for it.

Sadly this update does nothing to fix some of the old issues that surfaced with iOS 11 like the inability to delete or edit some of your account and passwords that are linked to your keychain or the random disappearance of the search functionality within Settings.

The messages iCloud feature requires 2 factor authentication yet your wallet does not? That makes perfect sense. In my experience, 2 factor authentication for the average person is more hassle and gives me a headache than it's benefits, especially when changing cellular providers.

Not looking for a fix, looking to make sure whatever evil bit of code that was in 11.3 that caused the hardware failure in the first place, has now been removed thus this allowing us holdouts to upgrade bypassing 11.3 entirely...
