Mine was week 8- Feb

It looks like yours (week 9) was made just last week! Did you get a launch day preorder or a later shipping date? If it was a preorder then they are literally shipping them as they get off the assembly line. Maybe you got it engraved?

I just looked up my iPhone 4. I got it the week after it came out and had to order it and have it shipped to the AT&T store, they were sold out everywhere. I noticed that my phone was made literally the day I ordered it.

Can someone explain to me what DQ is vs most people's DL in the serial number?

lol wow chill out. I thought it was a legitimate question... Not everyone here is just posting to troll. Questions get asked all the time by people who may not be in the know. It sounded like he asked that for the exact reason you answered in your 2nd paragraph, and it turns out it was. Could have just responded with that.

Another note, isn't there already a larger thread of people posting their serial/manufacturing date and loc?
