Is that close to where you live? Hopefully it's just not being updated (what happened to me) & it's on it's way!

Same here! :(

They'll arrive tomorrow. Don't be surprised if tomorrow morning your tracking data is updated.

In any case, my brother-in-law just received his today (near Chicago), so apparently his local FedEx office didn't get the message to delay delivery.

I wouldn't worry about it

if you Ipad is still somewhere in US. That is normal operation for Fedex and UPS. They fly all the stuff overnight to their hub to sort out the destination and they fly the package to the final destination before dawn and move to the local office to distribute. That is how overnight mail are handled. If by midnight, you package status still have not change then you should panic. But hopefully it will only be minority of the Ipad shipment..

Would it be alright to do a few practice panics.... just in case?

This whole thread will turn from nervous paranoid nellies to people reporting "everything ok" in the next 6-8 hours. This was the plan all along - once again, fed ex and apple are pros at single day staged launches....

mine arrived in my home town at 6 pm tonight at the depot for delivery tomorrow....

I refuse to believe Fed Ex is a "pro" at anything.

Both FedEx and Apple are sticking to their promises with the launch day delivery. It's great that no one is able to get their hands on the iPads until the 16th. I know Walmart just came out with the midnight launch but other than that, everyone will be getting their pre-ordered iPads tomorrow along with the iCampers. I wish we could all get our iPads a day early but kudos to FedEx for holding their end of the stick with Apple as deliveries go.

Louisville, KY, United States 03/15/2012 7:20 P.M. Departure Scan

LIKE THANK you!!! Its been stuck there since the 12th!!
Its sooo close!!

I've been a good girl all year! ( yes I know its only the 3rd month :roll eyes:)

Our iPads are traveling together right now. Your iPad is probably going to the Sacramento Airport for the night, where it will get sorted and mixed with other freight to be sent out to the proper station. It may end up at the actual station tonight too but they will be closed so you can't pick it up tonight. After it goes to the Airport it's either going to the station in Sacramento, Rancho Cordova or Rocklin. Depending where you live in the Sacramento area.

Hm you are right. Apparently it's at the "sort facility" at the airport right now, and a FedEx guy I talked to basically said unless it gets to the Ship Center on Development Dr. before they close at 7, I'll be waiting till it delivers because they can't release the package from the sorting warehouse.
